I started this because it kept being shown in A romance of the little forest. But the cringe and second hand embarrassment of the first two episodes makes me want to drop this. Should I continue?

Despite the lazy scriptwriting (which they admit), they did manage to tie up almost everything with a bow. That satisfying kiss in the end almost made up for my frustrations with this show. And let me just say that I'll never look at canned tomatoes in the same way ever again.

Nice script, nice acting. Worth the watch.

Here's an edit of their kiss in Ep12 where the kiss flashback from Ep13 was added in. They should have done it this way. There's no harm in repeating this anyway.

I am actually even suspecting that Fang made the video in Ep1 where the samples got broken and Meiren got blamed. Maybe they'll show later how Fang got involved with Xia zhi

Not yet. I'm still at Ep 26 coz I'm planning to binge watch when all eps had been dropped. I suspected Fang when the misunderstanding on a promotional plan happened

What I'm saying is up until she waited for him she still didn't know how to explain her original intentions. She needed to prepare herself coz he might get mad at her. She can't suddenly say 'Hey remember when Meinan mentioned I'm also a doctor? I'm a PhD in ornithology. I'm pretending I'm not smart this whole time because I thought you stood me up and called me shallow brained'. After he went and came back she just didn't want anything to do with him so why would she say anything.

We can hope 😅 They did finally show in Ep13 the accidental kiss in Ep 12. And the plant shading too was fully shown in a later ep

I think she really would have told him the truth including her PhD if he had shown up. She did say in her text that she had now organized her words and would tell him about how she was stood up which ties up with her intentions in initially getting close to him. Too bad he didn't show so when he returned, she definitely didn't owe him anything.

She wanted to prove that she can make ZY like her just for her personality, despite him thinking she's not brainy. She sometimes even deliberately make herself seem shallow because she thinks he don't like shallow-brained people. Her family knows and proud of her. That's why they also think she's a teacher. They even mentioned she was a merit scholar but MR stopped the conversation from going further. But you might have already seen this by now if you're in Ep 16.

Yep. That's it. They didn't shoot any additional scenes, just edited previous ones and added narrations. That's why many of us are still unsatisfied. But still it's better than not being sure if the revived DFQC was an illusion or not

Not to mention the weird editing. The leads accidental kiss in Ep12 was shown more clearly in Ep13. Too bad it's out of context that it's forgettable.
