Regarding him cultivating again, he seemed to be able to circulate a little internal energy & slowly stockpile it and he can presumably do as much as Rumu could do without meridians, which was still a heck of a lot. And Rumu lived without it for years so he’ll be fine for years too.

I would say don't worry about the rating; watch if you're enjoying. Block the triggering commenters and then you'll filter out the noise and just interact with the commenters you enjoy. I've been haunting this page b/c of the commenter keeping a track of the blood and tears count, and the rating has actually gone up from 8 > 8.2, and I think it'll keep climbing.
