(I can't speak to the OST for WoF, but the Dreamscape OST for this one's beautiful.)

I am not sure, at 10:25 the translation in Ep14 is "This year is about to end tonight. Next year will unfold tomorrow." So unless it's a mistranslation, I think it's a year... (that is, a year in between when he wakes vs leaves)

I think his hair went white when the evil energy from the sword flowed in, but turned black b/c it got purified by Mum's fire that's burning through his veins while he was in his year-long coma (or I assume it's a year because the dad said next year was New Year's when they left, and then the village said it was New Year when he woke.)

I'd settle for just this:

(Also, gotta say, I too was glad black foxy found them, to spare me from further cooking lessons. I do like that Fugui has a chance to see how normal people not training all the time live though, and I approve 100% of a superpower that prevents you from getting drunk no matter how much you drink. That is very, very, very useful.)

In my subs it’s heir, (or was last ep) so I think maybe just a family relative and not a direct descendant (maybe)?

I believe it’s cuz he has seen a vision of the end of the world, and decided that since no one is strong enough to fight Purple Back Mist Lady that rather than self improving the thousands of adults it’d be better to breed and raise a child and mould that child perfectly to do the job for him.

(Because purple mist lady kills you by manipulating your doubts and inner demons, he needs a human who has none to fight her, and that’s no one in that corrupt and petty alliance.)

^ so I think it’s to save the world not just to accomplish a dream of demon slaying but I don’t care because his methods and his parenting suck, he and Endeavor from BNHA should form a parenting club. 😂 I want Fugui to be away from that horrible home so bad 😭
