I gotta say my favourite part of ep16 and 15 was CY and LSF’s scenes together, those two not at all secretly wanting the other dead while not being able to kill each other is hilarious 😆🤣 Love them both.

I think nothing is reset game-wise, the “restart” seems more like “respawn” in the context of how it seems to be playing out, he was dead but popped back to life to keep on playing the quest 👀 (bear in mind this is surmising, I’ve never read the book.) 👀

My only hope I see of it is the Misery Pill stops anyone of his boys from killing CY white hair so if it’s revealed that this guy who clearly specialises in pills was behind the death of LSF’s pill expert sect, LSF might force a team up via shady blackmail to give XQS to help him beat CY white hair and accidentally end up friends.

It could be a mix though in fairness— when XZ’s show was airing a lot of fake CY fans were posting stuff to inflame fan wars on that page that real CY fans would never do (on the level of “only CY can act I rate this one star haha this sucks” type stuff) that got serious hate back from that fandom, it was the reason I didn’t watch that show bc the hate was so toxic in the comments. it would be interesting to know which third party benefits from the two fandoms having a fan war. 👀

XZX is very good as LSF this is true. (No comments on XQS bc I love him, but LSF has a very charismatic vibe to him and he’s very competent; you always know things will get worse for Good when he shows up 😂)
I don't care if Lui SiFeng is avenging his family; he should be punished for the harm he's done to innocent people…
I think he’s telling himself at the moment that no one is “innocent” (except Tang Fang) since they are either involved in framing his family or turned a blind eye to it for power or convenience or just it didn’t affect them so they didn’t care, aka in his eyes they’re all Sword King/Yirens/the supporters watching, and fair targets, kinda like how XQS felt it was fair game to crossbow bolt the power gang guys without caring too much why they signed up. But that he’s taking it so personally XQS has morals and belief in RighteousnessTM suggests that deep down hides a person who doesn’t necessarily like who he’s become, he just sees no other way forward so he’s telling himself it’s fair and that deep down everyone would do the same in his shoes. My bet is that if XQS keeps some morals despite the slaughter of his family that will be what makes LSF question himself more than any beating though I still want him to get one.)

And more importantly is it a game where there are multiple “players” writing this plot, so he won’t be the only one deciding? In which case what real world benefit is there from playing with this game, or what is motivating the other player/writer? 👀👀
