No need to sink to that level imo. Shows should be rated fairly for what they are, or for how much we enjoyed them, not for how much their actors or fandom are hated. Even if some haters do it there’s no need to do it back, it just makes us as bad as them and the site data less accurate, so in the end all users suffer.

I will mind his death a bit, but he is a terribly easily led human being in any direction except common sense 🤣😂

If LSF is right that this Dad who’s been a sus Dad in every other movie is also sus in this, he could have tried some attempt at eating a Marching Pill to avoid death and accidentally poisoned himself doing so too 👀

My money (if they’re dead) is on their water ran out and they either opened the doors to die in battle, or that water they both drank was poisoned so that they could die together. Thus when LSF got the token they were already dead. 😵

Yeah I was wondering about the lack of bodies too, and yet there’s memorial tablets with coffins behind them for the parents. That seems extreme if they’ve not found the bodies yet…

That will always come down to personal taste, but if you like CY and you like beautiful fights then yes, if you like tightly cohesive plots and a supporting cast whose life choices make sense and who you don’t periodically want to punch in the face at least once an episode, maybe less so. Subjectively I’m loving it, objectively I have no idea why anyone is doing anything, it’s a fun ride though 😂😆 There’s hints at why they might be starting to be revealed.

It technically is all his fault in a meta level in that he adapted their deaths in his book that he is now living, so in a sense all this is happening because he + the original author wrote it this way. He made himself OP in his adaptation but he didn’t change the deaths. So while its not his fault in the sense that he didn’t mean for it to happen, it is in that he’s known since ep1 that if he fought fisher dude Shan Gudou it would trigger the fight that would end in his family being slaughtered. With this meta knowledge he is self blaming and I think actually wants them to blame him too, hence why when they hugged him he told them that without explaining enough, basically pushing them away (even though they’re still jerks for letting him do it so easily). 🥺

But I gotta say that little emotional funeral scene made me wanna give him a hug and also wonder what happened to the Real!XQS and is he indeed going to be coming back again? Is he on some level hidden in there somewhere too and that’s why QXS can do martial arts despite never cultivating and feels so emotional despite barely knowing these people?

Also, I’m wondering, what if Crazy Yan’s youngest sister is LSF’s mother? 👀
