You are right. I wasn't trying to compare it that way. A really good movie has well developed characters, but the development could be way better in a movie comparing to a not so good series. However I agree. He is amazing in beyond evil.

Shin Ha Kyun is a great actor and he sure was captivating in BE. He is getting better as time goes by. However I think that Lee Dong Sik is very interesting as a character, while in mr vengeance the main character was not as multilayered and the movie itself had a different feeling to it.

I completely agree and I also feel that it will take a while for me to get over this drama.

I wouldn't recommend to binge watch this. I think it is much more enjoyable if you watch an episode a day.

I agree. It would be nice to know a little bit more about his past, since he was a very interesting character. It seems like no one noticed, but even if they did they would probably not say anything, because they wouldn't be sure. It is difficult to suspect a person that close to you that you know for years.

You are right. I was only bothered by the one with Do Hae Won since he whispered in her ear in a place full of people. I didn't care about the other ones, since I know that anything can be heard when you are living in such a small city and especially at night.

Hopefully the rating will change for the better. I think that we can all agree that Shin Ha Kyun is a phenomenal actor and a very handsome man.

I agree and disagree at the same time. About your first point you are right, even though I didn't mind since all of the characters were morally grey. Jin Mook was a very disturbing character. I frankly didn't find it ridiculous even though it is very difficult to act like that for your whole life when you are not developmentally challenged. I think that not even his daughter noticed. At least I don't remember something specific. She just found him creepy. Like other viewers said (since I wasn't that attentive to notice from the beginning, even though I found him suspicious) there were many scenes that it was implied that JM wasn't developmentally challenged, but no one noticed or the changes were too minor for anyone to pay close attention. However since they lived in such a small city someone should have noticed.

I agree about the things you said regarding Shin Ha Kyun and the fact that YJG wasn't overshadowed by his phenomenal acting. I also agree about Son Sang Gyu's acting. The only think that I never understood (maybe I missed it) was the super hearing of Han Joo Won. Had he tapped Dong Shik's phone or something? (Asking in case you know). I loved reading your review!

I agree, but the first episode was pretty good so I have high expectations.

I am a university student, but I agree. I also like dark series more (crime, thrillers) and I always preferred them. However, I think that besides the romance, certainly many people watch vincenzo because of the ML and because it is accessible on netflix. Besides that I believe that people are much more strict when it comes to rating a crime/thriller series, because it needs to be logical, while in a romance/comedy series no one minds that much if it is over the top or has plot holes. Also many people like watching something more relaxing. Everyone has their own taste!

I don't think they would be able to air something that bloody and dark.

I haven't read the webtoon. I just read the first chapter and that was exactly my though so it was obvious they were going to change it. I was just afraid that it would lose its charm and they would change it too much. I am 20 minutes in right now and it is pretty good.

To anyone who has read the webtoon. Was the 1st episode similar to the webtoon or it was less violent and followed a different direction?

I don't think that anything is confirmed, but since people speculate that this will air after fish upon the sky, the filming has probably already started (or it will start sometime in April).
