I am a university student, but I agree. I also like dark series more (crime, thrillers) and I always preferred them. However, I think that besides the romance, certainly many people watch vincenzo because of the ML and because it is accessible on netflix. Besides that I believe that people are much more strict when it comes to rating a crime/thriller series, because it needs to be logical, while in a romance/comedy series no one minds that much if it is over the top or has plot holes. Also many people like watching something more relaxing. Everyone has their own taste!

I don't think they would be able to air something that bloody and dark.

I haven't read the webtoon. I just read the first chapter and that was exactly my though so it was obvious they were going to change it. I was just afraid that it would lose its charm and they would change it too much. I am 20 minutes in right now and it is pretty good.

To anyone who has read the webtoon. Was the 1st episode similar to the webtoon or it was less violent and followed a different direction?

I don't think that anything is confirmed, but since people speculate that this will air after fish upon the sky, the filming has probably already started (or it will start sometime in April).

Just watch it. It will be more exciting to wait for the final episode.

What was even the "do you still hear the deer crying?" by Do Hae Won in the preview? That was creepy af. Next episode looks great

It was pretty weird from the beginning since Je Ni suddenly became a good person and treated Ro Na as a human being, even though she hated her like in the previous episodes.

I agree. SJ didn't kill SR. However from my POV the subs said "didn't you help JDT with SR's murder"? That doesn't mean she did it. She was an accomplice, but she didn't kill her. And she knew. She asked "are you going to get read of SR". Of course if it was just that I would agree that she may had another thought about what "getting rid of" meant, but it was obvious later that she knew. I don't know if legally we can call her an accomplice, but she would definitely be charged with something about SR's murder. But well, SR wasn't actually dead and we had that whole thing happening in the end.The thing with penthouse is that no one got caught for what they actually did. SJ got seven years in jail because of things that she mostly didn't know about. Her punishment would probably be lighter if she was in court for her actual crimes. The thing with her father though (probably it is illegal in Korea at least from how they depicted it). The problem wasn't that she just left him to die, but that she also deleted the CCTV's videos and took his will about her sister inheriting the school. YH's punishment was too light. I don't know Korean Law system, but she should have been charged with at least 7 years taking into consideration all of the things SR said. It was another "easy writing" this season so we can have YH in the third season... On the other hand we have seen worse rl cases, so maybe that was normal.
