Exactly. That's why I am saying that there were just little details. Like when he stopped grilling he didn't take of the gloves. I think biggest clue overall was DS behaviour. I personally did suspect him but to tell the truth he wasn't the only one. It seems like everyone has a secret in that village. However I think that the details that reveal that he is the killer were very mild and that is why they were difficult to notice. Like I said there are people that noticed changes on his behaviour and the way he walked and talked at times and they understood it from there. I personally read many comments (which is not a good think because I am not as careful with clues as other people) and I can tell for certain that many suspected him. Of course it may have seemed out of the blue for some. If I hadn't read the comments I would think the same.

I doubt it. They wouldn't reveal something like that in the preview so I believe that there is something else behind that line.

I understand your point of view, but I disagree. There were actually many clues that he did it. The thing is though that they were subtle and they mostly had to do with the characters. For example Jin Mook refused to stop grilling the meat when Dong Shik said that he would do it in his stead, and that was because his nails had blood. Also, when DS was arrested JM went to prison to give him food and when DS asked him ''How do you know (I didn't do it)?'' it was hinted that JM was the actual killer. Of course it also was his daughters behavior. Besides that, if you read other comments (since I didn't pay that much attention) JM seemed to change his stance and the way he talked at times, like he was pretending (not entirely, but at least partially). There were also many other clues like the way DS acted when he went to eat with them after leaving the fingers or how (from what I remember at least) JM was the only person he didn't mention to Joo Won when he asked him who is he protecting. Also all the laws that DS said again and again after each episode hinted that someone close to hum was the killer. but didn't have any evidence. I bet there are many others that I didn't notice, so no I don't think it was out of the blue. Actually many people suspected him and besides that good writing is about those details that you don't easily notice, but are there. That is my opinion at least!

Genuinely asking since I am not sure what you mean. You say that the writer didn't give any clues about Kang Jin Mook being the killer beforehand? And that the writer just made him the killer out of the blue to look like a plot twist?

Even though like the people below say this is probably from when she went to that woman to get a job, I think she is alive. This drama is crazy, and besides that I think that SR (if she is alive which I am pretty sure she is) may have planned it to make YH feel what is like to lose a child.

I hope so and I also hope that it turns out to be good, because the plot is very interesting.

I actually enjoy the story telling. I like how everyone seems guilty of something in the first episodes. About Yeo Jin Goo's character yes he is a little bit annoying at times since he blames DS for everything, but I like the fact that as time continues he sees DS differently. Yes he is supposed to be intelligent and such, but he is obsessed with the case (for some reason that we probably don't know yet). Like his father said he tries to look logical and smart but in the end he is just obsessed and follows his feelings. I find that quite realistic since his character and his obsession is obvious to everyone. Its not like he looks smart and everyone thinks he is perfect. They know that something is going on with him especially the people he is close to and DS. About the reason DS didn't call the police, you should rewatch the scene to understand. He tries to kill people when he bleeds himself like what happened in season 1 with Yoom Hee. He is not affected if someone else is full of blood.
