I think there are some professions were it's bordeline impossible to be fully professional. They may be policemen but they are also people. Plus if what the series portrays is true, it seems like the victims don't receive any adequate help when it comes to mental health and same goes for the police that seems to also act like psychologists when they shouldn't. The psychological burden is insane so it is impossible to be fully "cold".
So for me, when it comes to the lawyer, I feel it was more ''I hope it's not his'' rather than "I hope it's someone else's" if that makes sense.
That man lives there and they all know how long he's been searching for his kid. He probably also goes to the station regularly for one reason or the other so they are more familiar with him. It's harder to announce a person you are more familiar with something like that. Lastly, besides what was said it was evident how hard it is to announce something like that and that that is always the worst case scenario. I'm glad they showed a case like that though, cause unfortunately it is also a part of reality.
You're welcome!
It's one of those accounts where they use the Netflix logo in everything even if it isn't on Netflix.
Honestly last eps I thought that woman looked a bit old to be Ran Ran, but it may have been a make up thing or I just didn't pay that much attention to her, cause this episode she looked much younger.
I think it is quite plausible that it is her.
The mom holding that box with her child inside...
You can't truly feel any happiness for the lawyer, cause his son is alive but another child isn't.
And the way that man just said that he bought her and someone scammed him. Like how the hell did it not cross his mind that buying a 16 year old girl to marry is illegal?
And the "everyone in the village does the same" I gasped.
Spoilers are generally considered things that reveal important info about plot events/characters etc. It doesn't matter if it is in ep. 1 or ep. 20, if the episode is out or not or if it's info revealed in a teaser (that basically shows main plot of the episodes that will be shown next).
Some people may start the series now, others may not watch teasers or be in earlier episodes and just checking the comments. Someone that may be on ep. 5 wouldn't like to know what happens 10 eps later.
It's doesn't matter if it's available for public to see. What you wrote reveals important info of an important character in the series.
It's like I'm commenting on a mystery series who the killer is and I'm saying "the episode is out there for you to watch that's not a spoiler"
2. Nope, some did return them, but not all. That is why there is the scene where the mom kills the reporter. It shows that some people have kept them and will use them. We are talking about more than 40k guns after all. That aside, gun trade will never really stop something that was clearly shown.
3. I suppose this hints on a S2, but at the same time it doesn't really matter.
It was implied that she killed him since the boss said that they "have an empty spot". Even if she didn't, he's as good as dead anyways. Like the doctor said, he won't really recover. Either she killed him or his condition...
4. They couldn't really have a fight amongst all those people anyway.
The ML wouldn't shoot him, cause that would cause a massacre. He stayed true to his values.
Even though at first I also expected them to fight eachother in the end, I think that this was much better taking into consideration their characters.
Moon Baek didn't want to fight/kill Lee Do. If he wanted to, he would be dead, he had his chance. He accepted that he would die, he just wanted to live in a society ruled by guns and make Lee Do watch that new world being born. He wanted mostly to make Lee Do pull the trigger and basically kill him, something that he didn't do.
5. Majority were man (and had served) so knew how to use a gun. I wouldn't say they had perfect aim. I mean there were over 10k people there no matter where you aimed you would shoot someone lol.
About the boy it was indeed out of the blue, not that fond of that scene either, but certainly wouldn't be the first time parents decide to bring children in protests. (We had one recent;y here, people had brought even their babies and police was brutal af)
