Yes, this was a great episode to end! If the next 10 episodes are traumatic, I’ll just remember how this episode…
I was watching it with a smile on my face. I know she has amnesia, but to me, before they got intimate, she told him that her past didn’t matter, that she wanted a future with him. And honestly, that’s enough for me
I’m seriously considering making episode 30 my personal closure for The Lament of the Autumn. It’s not just…
Nooo, we’re in this until the very end! You can’t jump ship now. 😂 I love your witty posts; they make me laugh so much. And yes, some really intense scenes are coming, but there are some beautiful ones, too.
These last two episodes were phenomenal. Cheng Lei is the reason Chang Xuan has been able to touch our hearts the way he has. If this ends badly, episode 30 will be my consolation. I also want to highlight how beautifully they filmed the intimate scene. It’s true that they cut it down in the final edit, but the entire sequence, all the way through the following morning, was absolutely captivating. ❤️
And I loved the two metaphors they added to show the closure of Chang Xuan’s conflict with his late brother: the one with the fish and the monk, and the one involving the sun and his father. Such beautiful symbolism
YCX only has eyes for YPJ, and YPJ only. ☺️❤️ I’m scared of her getting her memories back, but I know…
I don’t think CX is going to tell PJ the truth before she gets her memories back. And it’s going to be heartbreaking when she finds out, especially since, judging by the previews, they’ll already be married and have slept together by then.
I have a quick question - I may have misunderstood, but isn’t the brother’s widow part of the Jun family?…
From what I understand, Daiti and CX’s brother’s widow are cousins, so each of them will bring something different to the Yu family. Daiti has connections in the US, since her father works at Columbia University and is involved in East Asian diplomatic affairs.
THE SCRIPT FORMULA: A MASTERPIECE IN CHAOS 😂👨 One man: 3 crushed girls. Add another heartbreak every few…
I loooved it. “The audience: Came for the romance. Stayed for the trauma. Left needing therapy.” 😂😭 It’s so true, especially if this ends really badly. 💔
YPJ: Another Complex Character Who Keeps Me QuestioningFor me, YPJ is just as complex as YCX. She leaves me caught…
I understand you so well. I used to think PJ pushed CX’s love away because she believed they came from different worlds, but today I realized there was another layer to the way she sees herself.
When she thanked him for saving her, I found myself wondering, “Why is she always thanking him for such ordinary things?” And then it hit me: part of her feels like she doesn’t deserve all the beautiful things Chang Xuan has to offer her.
She feels so small and so abandoned because she’s always been the one who takes care of everything, the one who goes out to fight, the one who keeps her mother alive. For PJ, even the things you’d expect from someone who loves you feel extraordinary, because she’s not used to being the one who receives care and protection.
The baby thing has me confused because the scenes I’ve seen related to it don’t really fit with what we’re seeing right now. So I have no idea how it’s going to happen. And yeah, they tend to save the most angst-inducing moments for the end to raise the narrative tension. I just hope the ending will be a balm for our hearts.
Others are saying it’s going to happen in episode 30. So it’s somewhere around that range. I guess they included it in the final arc because, after the amnesia arc, the focus will shift to the war, and we probably won’t get moments like these anymore
You know guys I almost forgot that she has amnesia and really enjoyed first time post amnesia plot😍😍🔥...…
The amnesia arc has been handled so well. PJ’s character remains consistent even throughout this phase, and CX is living it for what it is: borrowed time
I’m pretty intense myself, and when I’m into someone, I go all in. Not to Chang Xuan’s level, though. 😂…
Exactly. You have to know how to manage your own intensity so you don’t overwhelm the other person, while also giving your partner the space to contribute to the relationship in their own way. And of course, respecting each other’s need for personal space.
🍓 As I’m eating a strawberry tiramisu from Two Sizes (thank you, Madyush, for such a brilliant recommendation!…
I’m pretty intense myself, and when I’m into someone, I go all in. Not to Chang Xuan’s level, though. 😂 Sometimes his devotion can be downright suffocating.
One thing that annoys me, the whole brother in law assassination plot is written so poorly. ChangXuan is shown…
The thing is, Bing Wen saved Chang Xuan’s life in the battle where his father left him to die. So maybe that’s why Chang Xuan can’t see that his own brother-in-law might betray him
Okay, putting the drama itself aside, a big shout-out to cheng li ! 👏👏👏 Not only for successfully portraying…
I’m so proud of how much he’s grown as an actor. I discovered him in The Legend of the Female General, and the way he conveys his characters’ emotions through his microexpressions completely won me over. I just had to look up his other dramas. And the rest is history! 😂 I’m a big fan of his, and I always try to give his new dramas a chance.
