From the preview and some clips, I think that’s probably how the story will go

The novel doesn’t develop the Prince Annan arc. The scriptwriters decided to include it, so things are going to play out differently.

I think it happened before Annan came to save him. If I remember right, in episode 1 when Annan enters the cave, his brother was on the bed about to start the ritual. I guess the evil sorcerer ended up saving him from the sword wound.

Many of us think he’s just faking it. In the novel, the Prince Annan arc never really gets developed, so I don’t actually know what’s going to happen here.

Annan is such a strategic character. I feel like he remembers her and is acting as a spy for his own country. The way he said to one of his men : You haven’t changed a bit in a year... gives me the hint that he knows exactly what’s going on

I don’t think he’s actually forgetting her, he’s just pretending. To me, the one who put the hairpin in her hair after their wedding night wasn’t Jin’an, it was Annan. My theory is that the show is going to prove their love is stronger than anything.

I think the story wants to show us that his love for her is stronger than the Jade Linglong, which is why he’s not going to forget their time together. But it’s Annan who’s in control now, and he’s not going to act like a lovesick puppy. That torture scene… I’m not sure
