Not me getting a DM telling me to kill myself. Sigh, haters are so predictable. And excuse you, my comment was a novel, not an essay. <3
On Build Jakapan Puttha Jan 29, 2023
(If you think you've seen this comment before, I wrote it on the 4 minute-project page first.)

I see the controversy has reached here as well.

Well. While we're at it, and I feel like annoying antis, here we go: I'm 100% with Build. Here goes an actual novel y'all:

I'm old enough, and have myself, as a woman, been abused by a woman, that I would never condemn someone based on unproven rumours and simple gender-bias. And the way this thing is going, the more I read, the more I analyze it, the more I realize that everything the villain says, does not make sense. That's when you don't even mention the pictures she stole from Pinterest as her "proof" and the lies she's been caught in. And oh my goodness, isn't she just so ready to sue the whole world. :D It would be funny if she hadn't destroyed a man's livelihood, career and reputation.

I was going to be unbiased but everything she does, and the way she does it, kept turning me away from believing her. I sincerely believe that we have Amber Heard, the sequel, going on here.
See all the Korean male actors who netizens believed to be guilty of abusing their girlfriends, and see how that turned out. It went just like this one. As a Thai example, I'd use Mew Suppasit, he was also trending as an "abuser" on Twitter based on rumours. Guess what? Wasn't true either.

The female was always in a position of power over the male in this case. If that was the other way around, people would be screaming that the man used his position of authority to pressure her - and I do believe it happened here as well, just the female doing the pressuring.

And the only actual evidence, as a video, of violence towards anyone, is the female punching the male on the arm repeatedly while he's sitting close to the edge somewhere high up.
As a DV survivor, let me tell you this; if someone's abusing you, you don't go around doing that. The fear of repercussion later, in private, is a big thing. No matter if the punches are not heavy or it's a joke, it would never happen.

Oh and let's not forget how the female writer, with the male writer, harassed the actors. The actual video footage is so disturbing. I am especially appalled by the fact that, BY HER OWN WORDS, she told a 17-year-old actor that must give her massages, and that he would "only become a good actor if he did that". But aren't the people who defend her, very conveniently forgetting the whole thing?

As a last note, there's a possibility he might've cheated (though his ex did come out and say he didn't) and taken the money she offered him. But neither of those things is a crime no matter anyone wishes they were.

I'll end with this:
Twitter is not a court of law.
Unproven rumours are not evidence.
Antifans are not the judges.

So even if you believe he did it, Thailand's law reads: "Innocent until proven guilty".

You can @ me but do understand that I really, really, don't care if you're gonna contradict me. In fact, I'll quite likely find you annoying yet very naive and amusing.

Wait, Miyavi is in this??? Yeah so I''m not interested in the plot at all but will be watching this now. :D
On Koi to Dangan Nov 2, 2022
This looks like it will be very, very cringey... so of course I can't wait to watch it when it's completed. :D (I love these silly, mindless, weird Japanese series.)

Title YYY
I gave this a 6/10. Not because it was very good, but because no other series has made me doubt my sense of humour + sanity quite this much in such a short amount of time. xD

Title In Your Heart Spoiler
I don't tend to rate many shows this low, but I had to go with 3/10 for this one. There wasn't much substance…
Also, there's a literal rape scene... right after which, both the rapist and the victim are just cuddling with no worries? Um... nope nope nopety nope.

On What Zabb Man! Oct 24, 2022
I went into this expecting the worst, yet ended up being pleasantly surprised. Perhaps it was the length, since they had to make progress and not let the usual tropes take completely over.

Shortly put; a cute and quick watch with good acting. I especially will be keeping my eye on Boss, I found his acting quite natural and his eyes are expressive. Don't expect a complicated plot and just watch it for the cuteness and I think you'll be satisfied. 8/10 for me.
On Takara-kun & Amagi-kun Oct 23, 2022
This is pure, 100% unadulterated fluff. There's not much plot to talk about, nothing much happening, but the simplicity itself was quite nice. 7/10 for me.

Title Check Out
Acting: Better than expected.
Story: Worse than expected.

...Not that my expectations were high in the first place, but still. :D

Can't say much for the plot; it's pretty much like a typical Thai lakorn would be, bickering couple, lead that cries way too much, many forced kisses, love triangle, past connection between leads etc.
On Unforgotten Night Oct 21, 2022
I really wanted to like this. I did watch the whole thing, but had to resort to skipping a lot at the end. 5/5 for me, I won't bash this series, but also can't say it was worth the watch. Kudos to the actors trying their best though.

This looks promising, I really, really, REALLY hope it'll be good.

I'm off to watch this, since everybody seems to hate it. At least it will definitely fail any expectations since…
3 things that made my rating go from a 5 to a 7;

An actual kiss. Not just holding their faces together for 2 seconds.
Main character killing his friend, and main character dying at the end.

No, lol, hear me out; they didn't shy from him being violent, which I really appreciate, and the ending? For a fantasy-themed series, as realistic as it can get; there are no happy endings IRL.

Since I watched this with no expectations and brainlessly, I ended up giving it a 7/10;
short episodes so no fillers, acting fine, chemistry surprisingly good, plot quite hole-y but I've seen far worse.

So, all in all; for a short, low-budget production it was OK. Nothing to write home about, but nowhere near the worst thing I've seen.

Having watched the whole series, I would probably have gone back in time and stopped myself at episode one. If…
I've made it to ep 5 so far, it's certainly not the worst thing ever but it's also not... well, very good. I can ignore some wooden acting, silly plotpoints, annoying characters etc, but when it's a combination of all of those.... that said, I also do not think it's horrible, I think my standards are just way higher.
