I don't know about this one... I'm not picky in any sense of the word, but so far I haven't been able to make it even through ep 1. Will comment more later if I manage to watch more.
Not as bad as I thought this would be, gave it a solid 7/10 simply for being entertaining enough to pass some time. Some cringy acting, but actually liked many of the actors. I've watched way, WAY worse series.
I hope this happens, she's awesome and I would love to see her in a role like this. I also love dramas where the female lead goes for revenge (like Guilty akuma to keiyakushita onna) so I'm excited for this.
If anyone could tell me where you're watching this series, please do tell. I tried their official Youtube channel and website and couldn't find it, so maybe there's a fansub somewhere?
Easy watch, no brains needed. Good actors, lovely chemistry. Perfect watch between the serial killer stuff I normally watch, a nice mood-lifter between serious series. 9/10 for those reasons.
(Extra points; toxicity levels kept to a bare minimum, considering this is a Thai bl.)
Cringe? Yes. Clichéd? Yes. Nonsensical at times? Yes. Plotholes? Yes.
I liked this very much, which may surprise you after writing the things above. I liked the actors, the not-too-serious nature of it, and yes, the fanservice did help. I don't go to Thai BL to get a realistic story, I go to it to be entertained by some fluff for a while. I understand why some find it annoying, and had I been looking for a serious, deep drama to watch, I may have too. But for me, it's 9/10 for pure entertainment value.
For someone who's mostly into grisly murder movies, I enjoyed this greatly. And by that, I mean I rated it 10/10 because I was entertained the whole time. Acting was top notch as well.
I'm looking forward to "You are My Make Up Artist" but I'm biased as heck - finding Gulf Kanawut the most beautiful creature of earth, I'll love the series no matter the plot.
9/10 for me. If you're a scifi-lover, you know that an 8-episode drama can not explain everything, and there are bound to be plot holes. The ones in this series did not distract me from the plot too much and that is all I ask for.
What I think they best succeeded in doing was making this quite the human drama, even though it's futuristic and dystopian - too often anything in this genre is focused on gadgets instead of emotions.
The actors were great, from the mains to the minor ones. (Doo Na has never disappointed me so far, I always look forward to anything she's in.)
Gulf's collab song with F.Hero is awesome and I don't usually even like rap. :D I've been singing "Why so serious, man, why so serious" for days now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWQw-pq6B-4
I've only watched 1 episode and while the series seems well-made and the actors are great, I'm not sure if I can watch more. The second male lead, the boss? I freaking hate needlessly ***hole-characters like that. Makes my blood boil. If the writer wants to make a grown-up man act like a 12-year-old brat with no rhyme nor reason, I'm not sure anything else will make any sense either. (Yeah, I can suspend belief for dramas, but such toxic characters are my pet peeve.)
I mean you’re right but if that happens it would be queer erasure and I’m not here for it
Exactly. That is also the reason I absolutely refuse to watch Chinese bromance-series where the original novel was gay-themed and they turned it into friendship.

(...to watching the series. Not the actual murders.)

(Btw, for a second I though you were from Finland when I saw your name, "Halla" means Frost in Finnish. :D)
(and yeah, all the others are doing fine, but I don't think we can say the same for Himchan, with an actual prison sentence. )

Actors are great, they did very well with what a horrible script they were given.
