You're welcome! It's not a problem at all, I love sharing my favorite dramas! So thank you for actually watching one of them! ^.^ I actually put off City Hunter for a long time before I ended up watching it because of all the hype it had. I always feel pressured to like a drama if everyone else does, and it makes me enjoy it less. I also hated BOF and that's the first time I saw Lee Min Ho, so I didn't know what kind of character he'd play, but I ended up loving it. XD So, take your time in watching it, dramas are there for us to enjoy when we want to. :P
I'm really excited for you to start Can You Hear My Heart!! :D I don't know if this is a spoiler, but things get better when the adult actors come into play.

I actually liked him better than Jang Geun Suk too! It's part of the reason I stuck through the first 10 episodes before dropping it. I think you'll like Jang Gaun Suk a lot better in You're Beautiful. He stole a lot of women's hearts in that drama. But I'm glad you're enjoying it! ^.^

I just realized I missed your earlier comment, but we smoothed over that anyways. XD haha Sorry about that.
The only thing I didn't like about TTBY was that they didn't show how she won over the hearts of everyone in the dorms and that one girly guy with the lip gloss was never really confronted for his bad attitude. In the Jdrama they showed all of that, and it showed the bond she made with everyone a lot better, so the ending was more sad because everyone had a connection with her. In TTBY it didn't really make sense that everyone in the dorm was out there to say goodbye because half of them barely spent time with her, or really got to know her. Idk, but it was still good, and I liked seeing more focus on the main characters anyways.
That's right, you never actually watched I am Sam! I keep picturing the American movie every time that title is brought up,so you'll have to let me know how you're liking it so I can differentiate (omg I spelled that right on the first try. I have a hell of a time trying to pronounce that word. >.<;) between the two. :P

Haha Living with people is always hard, especially when they decide to see just how far they can push you. XD I hope you're not burying a body tonight or anything. If you are, I know you're smart enough not to tell me anyways. :P jk
He really does have distinctive features! It's mostly his eyes and eyebrows I think. They really stand out, and no matter what it kind of looks like he's scowling, or at least very serious. XD But I'm looking forward to swooning. :D
Wah! I love all around happy endings, and while ambiguous endings are really freaking annoying, at least it wasn't a tragic ending. I usually just make up my mind on what I wanted to happen, and never question it again if it's an ambiguous ending, and if anyone suggests a different ending, I blatantly ignore it. :P
I think that's exactly what my main problem with Dream High is! I just can't like her...not at all. When I see her face I just want to punch it. >.<; And I already know she's going to have at least two guys in love with her, and that just drives me crazy because I hate her right now. XD Ah, I feel better now that I let that out.
And yes, I finished TTBY and I really liked it! :D It actually kept surprising me with just how much I enjoyed it.
I'm not a huge fan of sagueks, but I will be watching Hyun Bin's comeback movie! Although I was hoping for a romance, it will be worth it either way. I've missed him. ^.^

and yes, I'll think I'll have to do that for Dream High. Idk why I just can't get into it. But I don't DISLIKE it, so there's still hope. I probably just keep picking the wrong times to try it out. XD

Heh, I can't eat like they do though. I always take small bites, so it's kind of shocking to me to see just how much food everyone shoves in their mouths! Then again, I usually have a hard time watching eating scenes in Asian dramas because of that, so I think it's mostly just me. I can't eat with anyone that chomps their food or makes that smacking sound, or god forbid chews with their mouth open. XD It's my problem, but my friends have had to change their habits around me. haha Just one of those things that makes you fly into a blind rage because it snaps that little annoyance stick we all have in our brains.
I'm not finding him all that attractive in TTBY either, but I've watch School 2013 MVs (Because that's what I do when I'm not actually watching dramas XD) and he did look a lot more handsome, so I get what you mean! And I keep getting more excited to watch it the more I read what you say! I love some good bromance, and I know I can expect it with School 2013! :D Did it end well?? I hope so!
I'm actually really liking TTBY so far, I'm on episode 10 and that annoying gymnast chick just found everything out and threw a hissy fit. XD But it's good in it's own way, and I'm making an effort not to compare the two, but it's harder when they're telling the same stories. But I really like the leads' scenes together, they're a lot more romantic than the jdramas. ^.^

I actually like general/light spoilers! They don't really ruin the watching experience for me unless it's one of those screw with your mind until it all makes sense at the end kind of movies/dramas. Or finding out the main character dies, because then I have a hard time watching it. XD So if it's nothing like that, I'd love some spoilers for lljimae! I also don't mind tragedy throughout a drama either, since what you said is right, it usually is the best jump start for awesome character development. ^.^ And as long as it's not a horribly tragic ending, I'm fine with the more realistic endings.
And I'll more than likely be watching dramas off your list since you've seen a lot more than I have, but if I find a gem you haven't seen yet, I'll be sure to either fangirl all over the place or be a little more controlled and give you a heads up. :P

Ah, that's right! So we're even then with the dislike/like of different dramas. :P
Is Go Nam Soon really that young in real life? Because I was really attracted to him in Secret Garden! That mans voice stole me right away. XD It's not wrong to love a fictional character that's playing a young age, it's only natural. haha At least I'll convince myself of that. I tried watching Dream High again, but it was somewhere in the midst of my slump, so I didn't get much further than last time. When I watch School 2013 I'll try to space out the episodes...but I don't have much faith in that happening. XD
Yeah, I don't think you'd like Hana Kimi that much based on your Jdrama preferences, but I like those types every once in a while, where the overall feel is all light a fluffy and there's no ultra serious drama. Kind of like the feeling you get when watching 90's sitcoms. haha I tried to watch it a few months ago I think, right after I first watched Hana Kimi. So now that it's been a while since I've seen the Japanese version, I think I'll appreciate it for it's differences now. ^.^
That manager really did make it look delicious! Just thinking about how much he was enjoying it made my mouth water...but then thinking about how it actually tasted is such a disappointment. Oh well, they can make even octopus look like it's delicious, so we should have known better. :P

Haha I know! I kept chucking every now and then when I thought about how much i was loving it, and how much you didn't love it. XD Since we are usually on the same page, it was actually a fun experience to not be. :P And yes, I will always read your fangirling and respond in kind. ^.^
I'll have to watch School 2013 soon! It sounds really good by what you're describing. I love multidimensional characters, and it's not often that you see them! And yes, if the villain can even be considered a good villain they should make us want to slaughter them with just a glimpse of their face. XD It makes drama watching so much more fun when it's perfectly acceptable to actively despise someone. I'm really glad you're still enjoying it, and I hope the ending lives up to the rest of the drama!
I think I'm actually going to give To The Beautiful You a shot again. I think my mistake before was watching it after the original Hana Kimi, so it was so different in style and tone that it felt wrong. If I still don't enjoy it, I think I'll watch Baker King since I'm kind of in love with YSY right now. XD Do you have a drama lined up for after School 2013?

Heh, it's always funny how quite it gets once you make a snide comment back. I've just started replying with "It's my list, so I'll do as I please, but thank you for your concern." XD
And yes, Shin Min Ah is just one of those people you meet one day and for no apparent reason you have the urge to punch them in the face. At least to me she is. Not to mention I really don't think she's a good actress, and Gumiho always seems like such a pointless drama, with fluff everywhere with no rhyme or reason. And I always worry about the plots in historical dramas falling flat or evoking no real emotion, which is why I haven't watched too many. I'll have to give Arang a chance someday and see what you mean.
I heard Vineyard Man was good by a friend, so you should let me know how you liked it when you're done! And I've read the synopsis of lljimae so many times because I also really enjoy action/romances, but I have a fear of sad endings. I heard it has a sad ending, so I've never been able to watch it. XD
I just finished Me Too, Flower and I really loved it! I loved the characters and how real they felt and how different they were from the typical goody-goody leads you see everywhere. It really felt like a character driven drama instead of a plot driven drama, which was a refreshing change.

their love. How they both had such strong personalities and how they fought and mocked each other was a blast to watch. Even when they broke up, I never once considered that it would last, because they just couldn't stay away from each other, and they both knew it. The only thing I really didn't like was at the very ending when Jae Hee decided to go to Europe for three years. Why do they always feel the need to do that at the end of dramas? I just don't understand. So I'm blatantly ignoring that and pretending he just opened up his own store. haha *cough* >.> I'm sorry, I really needed to fangirl about this, and I know you didn't enjoy it much, but I appreciate you reading my babble anyways. :P ^.^
What drama are you watching now? Still School 2013? How are you enjoying it? Did the other male lead show up yet?

It worked! I absolutely loved Me Too, Flower!! I enjoyed every darn second of it! It's been a while since I've thoroughly enjoyed an entire drama, and now I'm excited to start more dramas again! It wasn't perfect, but I'm in love. *gushes* I actually found the characters really relatable. (My spell checker says I spelled relatable wrong, but google begs to differ. XD) I think Bong Sun is a lot like how I was a few years ago, and while she was rough and brutally honest, she was just struggling to let go of everything in her past, those bitter feelings of resentment and feeling wronged always bubbling under the surface. And Jae Hee never really being able to come to terms with what happened in his past because Hwa Young just chose to ignore it or simply "let it go" (although she didn't either, she just never wanted to talk about it.) So instead of actually healing, he was just told it was "ok", which doesn't help anything when it's that serious. I even understood Hwa Young's actions, and they weren't nearly as evil as half the Kdramas I've seen. I still didn't like her, but I never despised her. I just think all of the characters were very real, and it was a very different kind of kdrama. Hot kisses, no awkward teenager moments when they're in their 30's, and it didn't have barely any of the typical plot devices. I also really loved

Hey! ^.^ I think this is the first time I've run into someone that couldn't stand Gumiho as well. It actually makes me pretty happy that you didn't like it either. haha I haven't seen Arang yet, but I know I always feel "meh" while considering watching it. What didn't you like about it?
I also took your idea about rating dramas on my PTW list! My rating is based off of which one looked the most interesting to me when I added it, but the idea is the same. Thank you for that! It really makes things easier! Although, I've already gotten a few snide comments like you did about rating a drama before I've seen it. Haha
What drama are you watching next?
I have to say...I don't cheer for the villain that often. Even if I don't like the protagonist that much, and…
You're right, he really wasn't the villain in the traditional sense, but he was still conning her (although to survive). I was conflicted for half the drama because I really wanted him to get away with it and run with the money, but then I felt so terrible for Oh Young that I wanted him to get caught.
I also agree 100% about that guardian lady! I don't think she ever once really explained how she thought not helping Oh Young's eyes was beneficial for Oh Young. I also didn't understand why she was forgiven at the end. Even if she did help raise Oh Young, it wasn't exactly a happy childhood, nor was their relationship anything above snide comments and lies.
Ah, sorry for babbling!
I have to say...I don't cheer for the villain that often. Even if I don't like the protagonist that much, and even if they're hopelessly dense, most villains are cry babies who want to find someone to blame, even if it's only that they were kind of there when whatever bad happened. There are some villains I've had sympathy for, and Kang Hyung Yoon is definitely one, but I don't think Jung Woo really was at fault for what happened to Yoon when he was young, Jung Woo was just as much a toy/victim in the whole thing as Yoon.
I did cheer for Joon Ha in Can You Hear My Heart, and Oh Soo in That Winter, The Wind Blows though.
This is a good article though! It's fun to see what side other people take while watching the same dramas.
