Title The Untamed Spoiler
I wish they hadn't done the original translator so dirty. Certainly left a bad taste in my mouth.
Sorry, but you don't know the law, the copyright on intellectual property isn't about making profit only. Also, the sites sharing translations make profit you don't see This is how internet works.
You can't take a book from my home without asking, and then, when I want to give that book to someone else, claim that it's yours. I can't explain this any simpler.
Last but not least
Amateur translation:
“Great news! Wei WuXian has died!”
Less than a day has passed since the siege in LuanZang Hill, and the news spreads through the cultivation world as if it sprouted wings, surpassing even the speed of warfare.
These sentences are grammatically incorrect. Because this should have been told in the PAST tense. A lot of translators make simple mistakes when translating from Chinese. Chinese has few grammatical inflection and you should know the language well, and write well in English, not to make such simple but crucial mistakes. My intention right from the beginning wasn't to bring up the quality. Since, people appreciated that the translator at the time brought this book to their attention. I am just bringing an example to stop this absurd conversation.
If the translators want to translate legally, they should obtain the rights before doing so.

"DO I NEED PERMISSION TO TRANSLATE A BOOK? As long as you are planning on translating a book for yourself, you will not need permission. But if you plan to publish the translation and share it with others, then you will have to get permission from the publisher first. In order to avoid legal troubles, you should obtain permission from the copyright owner if you want to translate a book. You must also realize that an intellectual property is very precious to its owner and stealing it can hurt someone in the similar manner as that of a material belonging, or maybe more"
...
While you are mentioning that you're an artist, you are forgetting the KEY here, not the 'translator's book', but the Author's. It's a book someone translated without having ANY RIGHTS to it whatsoever. If the copywright owner wanted, they could sue him.
Recognizing the effort isn't the same as praising the quality. The amateur translator made efforts, but the translation wasn't good enough. You need to know perfectly the chinese language and even more the language you are translating into. You need to be a 'writer' to translate a literary work. A translation may alter 'the original feeling' therefore copyright law just about making profit.
This book never belonged to the amateur translator. I can't take smth without asking and claim it's mine. This is the bottom line.

This is from a critique about japanese cinema., So I wanted to copy it here because after I watched it, I just couldn't stop thinking how this drama has a real identity...

THE JAPANESE FILM, WHICH WAS AMONG THE LAST TO achieve an individual flavor, is now the last to retain this individuality. It continues to show, for all who care to see, the most perfect reflection of a people in the history of world cinema.
This profile of Japan is easy to catch; the likeness is unmistakable, yet difficult to define...
In the broadest of generalizations, it might be this: if the American film is strongest in action, and if the European is strongest in character, then the Japanese film is richest in mood or atmosphere, in presenting characters in their own surroundings...

The way I understand things
This was during a national work conference and the one that included the portion about idol shows and 'dangai' dramas is Beijing tv and raidio municipal bureau.
To me, even though this is frustrating as hell, worrisome, too, but doesn't seem like at this stage it's 'national policy'. After all beijing bureau isn't nrta, no? From what I get?

The way people call this completely non-toxic BL toxic and then the BLs that are actually "toxic" and full of…
First of all, you aren't all by yourself in your universe:) More than 93 (at least) percent of viewers are with you, when it comes to this drama:) And I'm with you there!

The thing is.... even with any other bls or dramas in general (and I really wouldn't recommend fans to give in to provocations and start comparing dramas with each other), I think that there aren't toxic dramas, there are simply well written and badly written ones:)

As to this drama.
Beautiful! Exciting! Young! Charming! Lovely! Innocent! Extremely Romantic!!!
This is what comes to mind...❤️

You wrote so many messages, and if you are in china, wasn't it easier to copy a link, if it existed?? This is my last message unless there's a link.

If it's there you can share, no?
I have weibo too, so if you share i'll be able to read.
But last time everyone talked how there's a ban was from a newspaper article where one person had ecpressef their views (one person and not the paper, much less the government).
If there was news, there should be.more details, no? Did comeone just go and say 'danmei are forbidden'? Can there be news like this??? :)
Therefore if you ate going to give this type of information, isn't it logical to share a source?
What do you mean by beijing news? Is this a paper? Tv channel, which program? I mean, you should realize yourself, how vague is your post...

I mean the drama was filming till a few days ago. Are you saying that you have information that the producers or platforms (considered richest in the world..) didn't have? Or, are there people believing this type of rumours???

I have a question. I assume that besides utsukushii kare, you've seen many films and drama in your life.Could…
My question though is not a drama you found healthy, but what you found toxic. Especially if 'toxicity' as you said it something you find often in other works, then, logically, it shouldn't be difficult to give examples, should it?

What other dramas or films you have seen, where you think of the relationship between the leads as toxic?

And since you mentioned that you're easily annoyed with dramas, which dramas you commented on mdl, mentioning unhealthy relationships? I am curious to read your comments... May I?

I have a question.
I assume that besides utsukushii kare, you've seen many films and drama in your life.
Could you please tell, which other works you've seen where you judged the relationship as 'toxic'?
After that, I'll give my opinion about the question.

will mxtx receive money from the loyalty?? Has she been released from prison?
The author gives the rights to publishers with conditions. Of course she'll have profit from the publishing.
As to the rest, why on earth she'd be in prison???? Do you have a credible source for this?

I'm on episode 10 and I don't know if I should continue watching this show can anyone give me reasons/ convince…
Since I was hooked from the beginning and I started liking it after episode 3, I am thinking that I might not be the best advisor for you..
But I'll still say, that with 10 episodes, you still don't imagine the impact the drama can have on you, there are enormous surprises ahead, and I am not just speaking of the plot, even if this is the most intriguing plot I've seen in a drama...
Sometimes even 1 episode is enough to drop a drama and know what exactly you are dropping.
But with CQL, if you don't watch it, you are never going to know as to what it is you missed.

Is it a happy ending ??
I couldn't have imagined a more perfect ending for this drama.. It's one of those endings that you remember, and that happens only in 0.3 percent of dramas. At least for me...

Both cql and woh are AMAZING dramas and both are very close to my heart but cql was my very first xianxia. For…
This is a strange question, isn't it? I mean, why can people obsess with dramas where the leads are male and female, but they can't obsess with dramas where the leads are male? Is there anything wrong with that?
I think what we should be wondering about as to why, from the very beginning, we shouldn't have had dramas with male leads, as with m/f leads.
And this is why I am not answering the question from another perspective...
Also, the best answer to your question, would be watching the dramas. Because, however, someone explains to you their thoughts or feelings, it's only when you'll watch, that you'll get the answers to your question.

I wish they hadn't done the original translator so dirty. Certainly left a bad taste in my mouth.
Even though we appreciate unofficial translations, because they introduce us to many works, this is illegal. The amateur translators are often not well versed in Chinese and not English native speakers. I don't see how an official translation can ever make anyone, including the translators themselves, feel bad about them.
The amateur translator recommends the official translations on the page, which is the way it should be. Appreciating reading an amateur translation is one thing, but the books deserve better, and if the amateur translator himself wouldn't know it, then he shouldn't even be translating the books...
I have no idea what made you feel bad, but I think the law and ethics aren't on your side. since who we should respect first are the Author, and the Original Work.
