You mentioned twice about untamed controversy, mentioned XZ and Yibo, even though you realize that nothing was ever about the drama, or yibo, and that xz was caught up in an 'incident' that's history. You said, you don't mean any harm. If you get caught up in something today, and people constantly bring it up, way after it's over, I don't think it would do any good. I never said you insulted anyone, I corrected the information you provided. XZ isn't and idol to me. He is an Actor. I think this topic should end here.
Throughout the ep. 13 I just wanted to beat up Gao Liang tbh. The ending of the episode and ep. 14 made it better…
I have to admit, I did feel that he was asking for a beating in ep 13. EDIT since I figured you had written another comment. In fact I don't think of them as of friends as of yet. I think they come from different backgrounds, each of them with their own story, and for now, they are developing on their own. I think they aren't friends but they aren't un-friendly. And may be when put in serious situations, when they'll grow more individually (and by grow i mean gao liang:))))) they'll become tighter... I am also wondering as to how this'll develop.

Because, after all, he had all the right to get angry with gao liang. But saying this, it's never easy to describe any of XZ's characters with a few words, since there are always layers...

I read ONE description recently for another drama and I almost didn't watch it. And then, I remembered all of a sudden, that I should not pay attention at non official descriptions and watched the drama. Luckily. Since it became one of the dramas I have enjoyed the most this year.

I really wouldn't recommend paying attention to rumours. This is how they are spread. And frankly, today, this drama airing already, do we need to 'guess' as to who's the lead? :) Doesn't it suffice to watch it? I mean if nothing else, main, or not main, we can even judge by screen time...
I just don't get why people are hating on Gao Liang. He may not be as smart as GYY but he really is real and honest…
I don't think that gyy thinks he's better than anyone. Knowing your own strength or worth, does not mean you think you're better. He follows his own path and dreams and competes with himself. He works diligenly to become better never looking down at anyone. And we're yet to see his best self.
I don't hate gao liang. About the punishment scene. In fact, I do not know if you noticed, but during the eating scene, when they were thanked, the staff said 'gao liang led the comrades' to dig the pit. And in the end praised and thanked gao liang. Therefore, to me, if the situation turned, then it was evident that gao liang should take 'responsibility'.
I laugh every time I think of the poem part! I thought Gao Liangs reaction while reading was soooo funny!
The reading part was hilarious. And then the officer saying 'he was blushing'. And the part with YiYe asking not to insult him:).. i have to rewatch it:) i am even laughing when remembering it:)

There are 2 male leads in the drama, and their story develops simultaneoulsly. Borh characters play their role in the story. And as a huge X Z fan, I have to tell you, you don't want to miss him in this. That is, if you are a fan. And also, if you want to watch a nice drama. There are only 12 episodes out so far and unless someone was in the crew, or saw a premonitory dream, I don't think they can predict as to where this is going.
