Did you watched "Untamed"? Its crazy how different his character her, total opposite
I am continuing about something I've seen, while you are continuing about things you haven't. Of course he was praised, but where is the comparison? You write about major critics and then it becomes about twitter.Since you think critics opinion matter, may be you should check the awards XZ received for cql. There should be some logic when debating and unfortunately this is exactly what's missing from this conversation. Bye...
If you have noticed most of the dramas are Korean dramas... People watch Korean dramas more because it is easily…
Our opinions depend on our experiences on different pages. Have you thought that may be one fandom of a popular drama for example can also being attacked more because of competitions? It's not easy to judge the right from wrong, because there are lots of things to take into consideration.
I’m so invested in Xiao Zhan as an actor. He has magnetic charisma and screen presence. His face is so expressive.…
I want XZ to play in a great film, that will go to world festivals and show the great actor he is to even more people.. And I also wish for him to get the most prestigious awards... But more than that, what I wish for Xiao Zhan is to play the roles he'd like to play. Because XZ is a real Actor! 🌹
Did you watched "Untamed"? Its crazy how different his character her, total opposite
I'll combine and make it shorter since we DID get derailed. This conversation shouldn't have happened because you haven't seen CQL. Therefore you shouldn't compare any performance with CQL. Much less another performance you haven't seen either, basing your arguments on nonexistent critics. Because no major critics will write childish comparisons, And if they are existent, then please share the critics' names and their articles... What I said was , you can't judge acting you haven't seen. I love XZ as Gu Yi Ye, as Tang San, and as Dr Gu, but he was ALREADY PHENOMENAL as WWX. And if I don't say he improved as Gu Yi Ye, because he already showed me a perfect performance in CQL. And, since you misinterpreted, this doesn't mean CQL is going to be the hightlight. It doesn't mean XZ won't grow in film or theatre, because a talented person improves every day. I also explained my reasoning in general. Seeing a phenomenal acting from an actor, I am expecting him to get great opportunities (better opportunities, even) and show the Actor HE IS and Can BE. And this will be my last post.
Did you watched "Untamed"? Its crazy how different his character her, total opposite
IF you have only watched a couple of episodes of CQL, then you haven't seen XZ in CQL. Therefore no offense, but you shouldn't judge that role compared to another. He was absolutely phenomenal there. I do love him as Gu Yi Ye, as Gu Wei, as Tang San, because XZ is always incredible, and he can make any role his own, but neither of these roles are to be talked about as of improvement, simply because he showed a perfect performance in CQL. Lee Jun Ki played in 2005 in the King and the Clown and showed a great performance. An actor can show great performance in the beginning of the career.
I’ve read so many comments about Yang Zi’s characters are always so childish and immature. And here I am,…
This is about what you said you read about the character. IT's not because a character wants to be girly and acts 'chidish' (as a compliment), with someone she likes, that she should be called immature. She takes care of her father in a very mature manner, she backs away from relationships in a very mature manner, she treats her life and profession in a mature manner, etc...So I am going to disappoint you a little:) She's neither childish nor immature, in this one... And as the drama proceeds, you'll see different sides to her.
Someone explained it is common in china. That the family has the control
Not just China. There are cases, when the patient won't be informed of everything in many countries. But I won't continue this serious subject, since we are watching Fiction.
The drama was shot in 2019. They just didn't air it for 3 years😒
China preproduces dramas and can't air them immediately. Post production alone in China already takes years, which is normal, because a post production of a 1.5 hour film can take more than one year. There are also hundreds of reasons why a platform will air this drama before the other, etc... And whether a drama aired in 2021 or 2022, it doesn't change anything but the fact that the fans are going crazy waiting for them:))) To the drama itself it does absolutely nothing. Contrary to when dramas are shot during broadcast (like many dramas in korea for example, that aren't pre-produced), Because it means that the producers are gathering public opinion to make the drama as they shoot. And it means, the writer does not just write according to her own criteria, or the director has to do compromises, etc. That they'll add episodes, change endigns depending the reactions of the audience... In this case the outcome is directly connected to the fact that the drama isn't pre-produced. Therefore, personally, I prefer how Tencent, Iqiyi or simply China does it.
OMG...waited so long for this and I can't get past the first episode... script is cringe and the music is annoying…
It certainly does get more entertaining, but it was nice from me from moment 1. And therefore, in cases when when someone finds something cringy I've personally liked, and when music I find nice annoys someone, I know this isn't about improvement, and therefore my advice is to drop it.
What can I do? I like SanSan... Except for the photo part:( she regretted. And she can be a tad nosy:)))So to…
I agree with you. But, it's also somehow normal for a person to give advice based on her own personality and understanding of relationships .But, frankly, what you said was funny, so I don't want to make it into something more serious or even negate it. I just shared how I felt generally about SanSan:)
thanks!!! Ive not seen the full show but just clips of it, so glad its fully subbed
I have to promote this show because it's a favourite I have seen many times... The whole show is excellent!!! but those who want can only watch Xiao Zhan episodes. They start at episode 3, because there are two teams first competing amongst them, to compete later on with each other. The coaches, the other contestants, the humour, the songs, the arrangements, everything is very enjoyable.. And of course, with the incredible XZ who is bright like the Sun:) I got a friend watch this (she loves cql), and then as soon as it ended, she rewatched:))) it. So, I mean, this isn't just about me...:) My recommendation to everyone, give this a try!!!
San San keeps giving love advices when Lin Zhixao and Yi Xi have a more stable relationship than her LOL
What can I do? I like SanSan... Except for the photo part:( she regretted. And she can be a tad nosy:))) So to defend her a little:)))) Don't you notice how her friends always call her when in trouble, for important and not important subjects.. I guess she's someone who can lift their spirits... And in friendship, that's important too. You might not always be able to give a constructive advice, but to take a friend to a pub and dance and be with the person, sometimes that's all you need to do... But she also helps with more than that. Didn't she find a doctor for FL?
Judging acting by year of shooting is absurd. Did Tom Cruise play badly in Top Gun because it is filmed in 1986…
For a debate to hold, people should speak about the same thing. I brought you an example you are ignoring, by not even commenting on it. Lee Jun Ki showed phenomenal acting in the King and the Clown in 2005. So Ji Sub showed phenomenal acting in 2004 in I'm Sorry I love You. Jo in Sung in What Happened in Bali in 2004 If I take a Lee Jun Ki drama of last year (Money Flower for example), and tell that he's improved as an actor, showing growth, I'm afraid I am only going to just sound funny to someone else, who has seen Lee Jun Ki films and shows in 2000s. The same for XZ and Yang Zi. As I said the year of shooting has nothing to do in the conversation and it's exactly for actor's profession that growth can't be judged the way you imagine. Therefore I won't go in rounds...
Expect to love it and click on play!
