I don't know how they are going wrap up the story with 3 episodes to go but whatever it is, we all want to see more shirtless Chap and reasonable kissing scenes since they have two hot guys.

We are probably in the 'older' group of what some teenage girls here blamed for the low rating. There are so many things wrong with this drama, only the hot leads and shirtless scenes keep us going.

It seems like wearing tux is the new black instead of school uniform that many Thai BL have based their story from. This one, Cutie Pie and Kinn Porche but Thailand is a subtropical country! Nobody wears suit with tie except for very special events or short photo sessions, and certainly not in outdoor sit down dinner.

His change of behaviour from obnoxious to flirty is just too jarring. People don't just fall in love after a conversation when they both played prank to each other before

The sudden insertion of the theme song loudly whenever they both kiss or have face almost plasteres together is tacky and hackneyed.

This is a BL series, if they show LGBT stuff like those realistic dramas in Europe, those teenage fangirls will be screaming for their mama. They won't want to see one of the pretty boys in doggy position or biting pillow!

Forget about logic, those pratfalls are enough telling signs of the writer's flair. As long as Chap keeps taking off his shirt or they keep slipping into each other and lips turning into kissing magnets, teenage fans are more than happy with the drama.

Haha, I get your point! I even saw a comment on Bad Buddy series that watching that drama was the best thing that ever happened to her! I hope she is only a teenager and yet to experience wonderful real life experience to say that.

While everyone is allowed to do what they like and entitled to their opinions, I am just concerned some of these fangirls are so just obsessed with their idols or BL dramas it disrupts their daily life.

In Viki's on screen comments of some idol or BL dramas, you often see high students saying they have exam tomorrow but couldn't stop watching the drama at 3am. In some BL dramas' comment section, you could see some people commenting hundreds of time obsessing about everything from MV or BTS of a particular series, their study must be affected by all these!

They probably don't have much social or romantic life after spending so much time watching all BL series or BL youtube videos!

Although I have not been to Arizona, I could feel the discomfort of summer months after watching many seasons of CSI Las Vegas. What was your friend thinking making guests wearing tux at the height of summer in desertland? Any older guests might have a heat stroke, haha!

My friend's wedding dinner was in a five star seaside resort (the Datai) by the big pool, so it was as glamorous as it could be in this region, not unlike a wedding dinner in a Hollywood movie (not the Hollywood district of LA).

Another funny episode was his next evening's canape cocktail party in his honeymoon pool villa. He imagined a glamorous night of guests sipping champagne and chatting with canapes on the other hand just like what I experienced in a London's hospital fundraising event when I met Judy Dame !

Sure enough, he was furious and disappointed again when we started to order fried rice and hamburger from room service as the night went on. Hello, we are Asian, we cannot have an evening just drinking and eating canape the whole night! :-P

Dear sir, you could read my longer comment below and see that asking someone to break up sentences or asking someone not to use all caps are not language policing.

@Ginger352, I know East Asia film making industry has been capitalising on the sudden popularity and enormous market potential of BL genre but that does not give filmmakers the excuse to have lazy writing or not knowing the 101 of drama/movie production. I can forgive low production quality of BL/LGBT dramas due to limited budget and works from small studios. My favorite BL dramas do not need to have the overall quality of SATC or Six Feet Under (notice I don't like any violent or political dramas like GOT or West Wing being a typical gay man's taste).

I give a lot of leeway to LGBT and BL genre because I would not have watched a straight / BG drama if it does not have interesting premise or amazing scripts in the first few episodes.

I brought up the phenomenon of Korean popular culture because I have seen comments here and in youtube that "Koreans are the most beautiful looking people" and "they have amazing culture". I don't want them to be in shock when they find Seoul being soulless (not historic enough, and yet not modern enough) and Jeju Island being over-hyped locally as the 8th wonder of the new world. They will also be in shock people on the street do not look any more attractive than those in its neighboring countries.

Many audience also fail to see majority of the gorgeous male and female Korean actors did plastic surgery or have great make up artists. One thing for sure having gym fit body definitely makes Korean actors more attractive than the rarely gym trained Japanese and Chinese actors. Fit body will change the face profile a bit and lean stature will bring out an attractive aura of the man/woman.

The issue I have with this series is there is nothing interesting with the plot and scripts, so playing safe has avoided plot holes but the high rating and rave reviews seem to suggest people have seen the Citizen Kane of BL dramas.

I didn't criticise Mau for his grammar or poor command of the language. If you read his sentences again, he just wrote as if he was speaking (no comma, no full stop), and no obvious grammatical errors. He could be a native speaker with limited vocabulary if he is still young.

Although I have been using English mostly in phone texts and emails since working, my native language is Mandarin and I also have to use Malay language regularly as a national language. I make it a learning exercise when I write comments as I often need to double check the definition of some words I use. Therefore, we can still improve our language when we write comments or learn from others' writing flair.

It's pointless to continue arguing with you who keep saying the same irrelevant thing (that I care that others liking it). I only responded to the original poster who dislikes it, I didn't bother to reply to many original posts that say they love it, ok?

There are just a lot of lazy writings in the series and worst is the finale. The writer just wants to create the various tropes but cannot fool people who haven't switched off the brain or know at least a bit of the country.

If you studied 4 years to get a degree, where did you get the fund to own a motorbike shop? Unless Tawan chipped in, he couldn't save anything with a rider's income and paying for his study. I remember Mork said he could sell the injured guy a new bike, so it's not just a repair shop.

The driving distance between Bangkok and Chiangrai by car is about 789km or almost 11 hours of non stop driving. So, it would been the next day for Mork to get to Tawan house. What's worse, his mates riding motorbikes would have taken more than 12 hours! So, it is laughable for anyone knowing a bit about Bangkok or Chiangrai.

Another illogical plot is how he could locate Tawan without clear direction of the roads he had used. I'm sure there is not just one road in Chiangrai's highland park and how did his friends get there too without direction? It would have been plausible if their meeting is in a famous landmark or tourist attraction, that place looks like off the beaten path.

I agree their interactions after 4 years later feel like their 2nd or 3rd dates. Anyway, there are many awkward pauses between the couple which were cute initially but becoming tiresome when we still see them till the finale!

Please learn how to break up sentences or use commas and a full stop in a sentence!

I checked out this drama because a few people quoted Blueming being great in comment section of another drama. I have to agree with the original post, I didn't find anything interesting with the plot or characters.

But look at the rating and comment section here, it sure feels like a masterpiece for many of them! It's no wonder MDL has to put a cap on BL dramas' rating as fans are too easy with their scores!

You are not nitpicking, you are being sensible. The plot has been ridiculous, the scripts tacky but we still watch it cos Chap would make gay men cum in their pants as soon as they see him shirtless (quoting Samantha Jones).
Perhaps the director wants to simulate a korean drama setting or he has a fantasy of western high end society. My best friend had the latter fantasy so he made us wear suit and tie for his gay wedding dinner at an island resort near southern Thailand. It was an alfresco sit down dinner with long tables in the evening serving French cusine but sure enough everyone took off the suit and untie after the photo session, making my friend very pissed off and his Hollywood gay wedding fantasy ruined, haha!

You are right, the transition was jarring since episode 4 where he totally behaved vulnerable and episode 5 totally like a horndog. Unless they have been deniably gay, straight men don't easily fall in love with another men as they have to first overcome the natural physical repulsion with the same sex. In the case of gay men like us, we can only fall in love with a very attractive woman if we can overcome the natural repulsion to that squishy soft body and off putting feminine scent.

People are getting more and more obessed with korean dramas/movies, even more so with BL fans. Many of them could just watch cute guys doing lovey dovey things and call these dramas a masterpiece (such as Semantic Errors). Perhaps they have not been to South Korea and fantacised by its pop culture. I have been and not impressed by the architecture or the guys, I did enjoy the food though.
For me, a masterpiece has to be something that delivers a meaningful message or something thought provoking or poignant, I would rate only a few Japan BL in these last few years as masterpieces. As a gay man, we have different preferences for BL or LGBT dramas/movies.

The conflict was actually resolved with just a few sentences and they started to hug each other, I was like, what the hell! Same with the ML, just some chats, asshole Chap would suddenly suck Green's bleeding finger like a vampire and Green quickly felt like a teenage girl in love for the first time. Both of them so far didn't manifest themselves being gay, so you don't suddenly become gay by some close interactions, but damn, some fujoshi find the series cute lovely so far!

I am a Chinese Malaysia and have been to Thailand and all other countries in South East Asia (aka SEA). Here are my point of views and observations to share with you.

I mentioned not even rich or top management will wear suit with tie because we do not have cold draft like in temperate countries such as England where I spent 4 years in my early twenties. The tie especially will make you sweat a bucket once you are outside the air cond space. Suit may be worn on certain occasions but not with tie except very formal event and for photo session only.

Talking about this, my best friend had a gay wedding in an island resort (near the border of Southern Thailand) and made every male guest wear suit and tie for the evening alfresco wedding dinner. Sure enough, everyone took off the tie and suit once they went past the photographer. He was very disappointed he couldn't get the image of the wedding dinner in western movies where people dressed up, chatting and sipping champagne as there were very few drinkers also, haha!

Imagine long sleeve plus suit and tie in 80% humidity even in the evening !

Back to long sleeve, those people wearing it in SEA are usually laborers who have to work long hours under the sun such as motorbike riders, farmers, outdoor vendors, construction workers as they don't want to have darker skin. Usually those long sleeve shirts are not the branded or high quality stuff you can call a stylist option.

People in this region do not get sunburn due to our pigmentation and only if they swim under the sun. Middle class and rich people who work in air cond room during the day in office and sleep with air cond on at home do not wear long sleeve to shopping mall because these are normal temperature for us.

Those fair looking actors in Cutie Pie and the Tuxedo are mostly ethic Chinese Thai or of mixed European or Chinese parentage. We are naturally fair and will turn fair again once we are away from long hours under the sun.

Those wearing thick jacket or fur coat just admire western lifestyle too much like my best friend for his wedding dinner! Gay men in this region who have worked out a lot tend to wear singlet or tight t shirt to show off their muscle, so no long sleeve for them!

Yes, even the sentences actors spew out also don't make sense. ML just said "you understand me the most", after Green correctly guessed the reason Chap wanted to look the best for his father's attention. In Episode 4, Chap also seemed to have taken another person script book and totally didn't behave and talk like an arrogant prick, why such drastic change just because he was outside the house?
The other guy simply accepted the apology of another guy after one sentence and hugged him. These guys have been arguing for the last few episodes but one awkward explanation and they all acted like friends.

The suit theme may be new to Thai BLs (Cutie Pie as well) but the director seems trying too hard to make the actors (all very fair and North Asian looking) and setting similar to Korean dramas.
The weather in Thailand has very high humidity and room temperature during day time is at least 28 degree celsius, nobody will be caught dead wearing suit and tie outside a very formal events.
