Omg, Beauty of Resilience is probably worst. Haha.
If you're okay with choppy editing, an ending that made no sense, and a male lead who was basically someone else's husband when he had amnesia, a girl who looked like the female lead but wasn't her, then yeah, the drama won't be too bad, but I just couldn't take the overall nonsense, not that any of Ju Jing Yi's dramas were ever that great.
Happy 6 months! So nice to meet here again. TSL is still so hard to beat.
Hellllooo, again! Agreed. This drama is a true gem, one that will shine brightly for many years to come. The expected major blockbusters this summer have been a bit disappointing, so I've been slowly rewatching this drama all over again.
AHHH, HAPPY SIX MONTHS BESTIE! Sorry for the late word of celebration I didn’t realize that we’re in already…
I'm doing well. Although we're six months wiser now, I love it how the drama stays that way, their beauty doesn't age nor fade away. I just wish they came out with official Blu-ray sets, so I can relive the moments in a pretty package like my other Korean dramas. You take care as well and see you at our 1 year!
Can someone please spoil me this drama and here is why I watch most of this drama but with clips on YT. And saw………
Qing Kui dies, but the beauty of this drama heavily lies in the journey and not ending, so if you're deciding to watch a drama based on the ending, you may miss out on one of the best dramas ever. Qing Kui is in the drama until the very end. Sure, she dies but she still has scenes afterwards.
This drama is similar to Ashes of Love but this one is definitely better and more relaxed, the casting choice…
Funnily, I rewatched AOL on Netflix just a month ago. I haven't rewatched it in 5 years now? It hits different. I still love it but too much focus on the baddies. But I wished this drama would've stretched the emotional parts of the story just a tad more like AOL.
Happy 6 Months to this lovely and unforgettable drama! It's still hard to find something as wholesome, funny, and good as this. I've been watching all sorts and still, this one is one of my favorites! I hope everyone is still doing well in their own starry lives! Take care everyone!❤️❤️
I don't mind if they are dating someone else. It just prove that they are great actors. 😆. Back then I thought…
Oh yeah, Yang Kang was before GMP. He looked so young, still had the baby fat cheeks. Hehe. Although Meng Zi Yi, the actress CXX was paired up as Yang Kang was pretty and a 1995er, I thought she looked too mature or old for him and she's only a year older in reality. Or it was him who looked like a baby boy then. Or the wardrobe just made him look meh. Hahaha, so I thought they were a mix match. I like Yuan Hong and Liu Shi Shi's version more in the 2007 adaptation. But yes, CXX is one versatile actor, for sure, probably one of the best of his generation right now.
I wished they didn't cut out those scenes where YQ and YT get back to the beast realm.
When YQ and YT exited out of the heavenly realm at the end of Episode 30, the next scene we see is of them in their room with YT wiping YQ's blood and he's trying to heal but in reality, they filmed a few more scenes but were cut. They actually filmed YT half carrying YQ through the beast realm to their room. I thought those scenes were sweet. Like we barely get any sweet scenes where the leads do nothing but hug as it is.

I don't mind who they date either as long as they produce really good works for us. They're all so young, they should have all the fun in the world. I like PXR too.
Ok Niudi supporters amongst us: what do we make of the news that LLD was in THAI recently with Steven Zhang (seemingly…
Oh, that's old news. Hehe. We were talking about this maybe a month or so ago when the TSL fever was at its peak.
None of them have personally clarified anything, so everything is based on speculation. From what I've read and heard here and other Chinese sources, not saying it's true or not or how much of it is true, and feel free to correct this anyone, is that Steven aka Zhang Xin Cheng and Li Landi dated after they collaborated in My Huckleberry Friends 2017. There were photos of Landi hugging Steven from the back and of them dining together in 2018. They never confirmed their relationship, but it was sort of an open secret. Steven cares a lot about his fans and the public, so they were very low key, almost nonexistent. A lot of Steven fans always dragged Landi through the mud but there was no protection from his part or at least, not publicly. A lot of fans openly felt sorry for Landi, she was sooo grieved during this period. Steven had rumors with other girls, mainly his costars, but it was known that Landi was very loyal through it all. However that sort of changed ever since TSL. Haha.
Steven and Landi may have met up during the Thailand trip because they share some mutual friends or it may have just been a coincidence since a ton of celebrities went to Thailand. However, people have noticed that it was actually after that trip that things began taking a turn for the better between Niu Di and especially when they were promoting and got closer again. Hahah. Steven's fan club didn't deny the Thailand trip, but they said that he's not dating Landi, so that's sort of a confirmation.
I honestly believe Landi is a good person, meaning, she won't step on two boats. I'm sure if she was dating someone or had a boyfriend, she wouldn't be this close to CXX. And I think CXX wouldn't be thick faced enough to chase her especially when everything is recorded on public streaming platforms. Even if he was, he cares a lot about his career too, so he wouldn't dare risk it and get back lashed, since he carries the weight of having done villain roles, so people have a certain image of him. It's easy for people to slander him if they wanted and not too many would come to his defense. It's super easy to get canceled these days. Lol
Anyway, I think Niu Di knows what they're doing. There's no denying that there's something there between them by the way they stare at one another and just laugh away in their own world but whether those sparks will flourish into something much more than just really close friends and costars, only time will tell and if they tell us. Haha. I think they’re very cute together. We all wish them the very best in their own careers and of course, together, in the future. CXX has officially joined his new filming crew and character, so we’ll see if everything else will just disappear or continue. But I don’t know much about them though because this is the first drama that I’m really following all BTS, promotions, drama, interviews, and such, so I’m not too sure how they acted with previous costars to compare but so far, the videos that fans have compiled showing the differences shows that Niu Di is real. Hahaha.
