It was only 1 year but technically, 6 months since ML was going to send FL back to her hometown when he was going to marry his cousin. The plan was, ML was going to write a letter of truth to FL once FL arrived to her hometown and explain everything, by then, they won't see each other ever again. HOWEVER, FL refused to go and waited for him. But ML had to go to war next, so he wrote FL a divorce letter and shooed her away to go back to her hometown again. Once she got there, she'll discover the truth. HOWEVER, she didn't leave. She followed him to war. He was too busy with war then when they won the war, state affairs were too dangerous to tell her the truth because a villain, her uncle, was on the run and they were too far away from home. And this was when she discovered the truth. In between this one year, he was going to tell her so many times but it didn't happen for other reasons. SO NO, ML didn't lie to FL for 3 years.
Look, ML lied because he had to catch bad guys. It's no different from secret agents with hidden identities. So what if FL was on Ziyu's side who eventually became emperor? The time she was illegally smuggling iron, she was breaking the law. I'm sure Ziyu as emperor wouldn't be okay with Prince Sui smuggling iron behind his back JUST because he believed he should've been the emperor instead.π Gosh, criminals HAVE so many rights, more than the law.
I agree with you. Once they dragged out the second half, even when they reconciled, they were different. Even in their real marriage, they had less sweetness and the plot moved right on to politics, so it dragged again. π
Nah people here were defending the male lead and being adamant that she forgives him as quickly as possible because…
Nah, people can't reason with you either because you don't want the FL to ever forgive ML which is ridiculous. Haha. Even after 8-14 episodes of simping and we still have people who don't want the FL to forgive the ML?! That's too extreme. And ML is someone FL loves? You just proved those people right that no amount of sincerity, apologies, to life threatening dangers ML had to suffer would've satisfied those who hated the ML. π₯΄π
last 7 episodes or so were little boring, nonetheless the chemistry b/w the leads were outstanding.Kudos to the…
Even when the leads reconciled, their sweetness DIED down. I was merely disappointed in their wedding and the little amount of skinship before it ended. Their hugs were nonexistent. They seemed sweeter in their fake marriage, so yes, it got a little boring towards the last 10 episodes.
I love this drama but at same time I am perplexed by the magnitude of understanding male leads get. I am in episode…
It just depends. My Journey To You, the FL was an assassin and spy, pretended and manipulated the ML too, faked her entire background, the ML forgave her within an episode, so not all dramas are like that. Things should be done reasonably. It's not always a female versus male thing.
Oh don't worry. This drama took their time, too much time, 8-14 episodes for them to reconcile, so it'll probably be to your liking. π
