Yas, she should honestly work with this styling again, such a classics beauty! Like finally, a beauty playing a beauty. I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but man, we gotta admit, some fit more than others! At least I'm not having to convince myself that this FL is pretty.

I love that even though Xiao Qiao is the smartest character in the story, she's so humble and full of grace. She never embarrasses Wei Shao in any way or form just to prove that a woman could do it better or that she doesn't need a man. This is no feminist or typical strong female lead or woke drama, so everything flows so well so far. She goes the extra mile all the time as a wife, genuinely and diligently, takes a few steps back when she's wrong the moment she realizes her mistakes or rude behavior, never rejects the idea of changing herself for the better. She thinks of ways to prolong her clan's survival yet also benefits Wei. Gahhhh, she's just so well written and multilayered. And our Wei Shao is the same. The character development, the softening of his heart towards her, the fearing her is so natural. He likes her so much that there's nothing she could do to upset him anymore. Haha. Although I dislike Wei Yan and his slimy face but the past two episodes show us how strong Wei Shao and Xiao Qiao's bond and tacit understanding of each other truly is. I love watching their different versions and sides when dealing with family and state affairs. I love how Xiao Qiao understands and doesn't blame Wei Shao for suspecting or being wary of her.

This was worth the wait and Song Zu Er's comeback. Binged all 7 episodes twice. Haha. Thank goodness Xiao Qiao's intelligence isn't explained in words like 90% of the strong female leads where it becomes sort of silly but rather through subtle actions and meticulous strategy. I'm glad that Xiao Qiao makes mistakes and isn't always ahead of everyone because that's reality. She can't solve everything in one day or a simple chat. Hahah. Liu Yu Ning and Song Zu Er are PERFECT for the roles. I can't see anyone else but them. The chemistry is sizzling hot!

It was that ending scene that made me like Zhou Ye. It was very well executed!

I'm actually not against the delay of this drama because there are so many popular dramas that are going to air in May or summer like Cheng Yi, Xiao Zhan, Yang Yang etc, just to name a few so the competition is fierce and matters too. Cheng Lei and Zhou Ye aren't traffic stars so their drama could easily get overshadowed even if it's good, so for the overall sake of the drama, I think Tencent should carefully choose it's time slot because this may be a step back or forward for their careers.

I still think the production could be better and more ascetically pleasing but that's just me. Hopefully, the story telling is solid despite production quality.

I already have a problem with this production being so hush hush about everything. It's so hard to get a proper teaser, promo, trailer, or BTS stuff like other dramas. There's literally no updates unless Tencent forces them to. I don't mind their secrecy if they WOWed me but so far, both trailers aren't bad but aren't great either. I wished they had more of an X factor that makes me crazy about this drama. I like both leads so I'm stick around hoping they'll surprise me.

I agree. I actually enjoyed this drama mainly because the leads could act. Their acting made their tragic love story work. You could see the pain in his eyes and the love she has always had for him in her eyes five years later. Their chemistry was FIRE! And yas, you're right. She's his best equal when it comes to the passionate kissing scenes. They both could emote so much and naturally in those scenes. I hope to see them in another collaboration either modern or ancient or both. As for the storyline, the last episodes were all about the brotherhood, so the leads took a back seat. I wished they didn't do that but that's fine.

You may not realize it, but people are actually giving you the most genuine advice which is to watch this drama again in a few years and perhaps you may enjoy it. That's life. You may like what you once didn't and vice versa. Life is unpredictable, temporary, and full of fleeting experiences.

Only Park Bo Gum could play an extremely green flag character so sweetly, sincerely, and naturally YET play a villain so complexly well too in Hello, Monster. This is the first drama to air after his military service and disappearance after 5 years. This drama made me realize just how much I miss him and the quality of acting he brings. I'm so happy that he's still here, gracing our TVs with his acting range. Movies are great but dramas could be better with its duration. I'm so proud that his acting has only solidify with age.❤️

I've already cried so many times and that was just the first episode. Talk about knowing how to pull heart strings in just one episode with the mother's short life story and cameo in the drama.

This is what I've been waiting for, a solid drama that actually cares to tell a story. The young cast, acting, cinematography, and story telling ALL aligned and made such a phenomenal impact.❤️

Surprisingly, this short drama was just what I needed at this time. The story isn't anything new but the two leads were amazing. Their chemistry in every scene was sooooo good. Their misunderstandings weren't prolonged and annoying. Maybe because it's them two, the entire show was very enjoyable. Both leads had their flaws and distrust in each other but they weren't dumb. They reacted to what information they had at hand.

I hope it's true and soon!

I think it's great that she takes her time to choose quality works but for this long? We're going into October? 😓 She's active but just not in dramas right now.
