Some are saying they're falling in love too fast, others complain it's too slow, haha, could never get it right. I think 17 episodes is a pretty good mark to start becoming a real true couple. 😂😂 I think it's pretty good pacing. The falling in love episodes for the part few days may seem boring because there's less politics and actions, but I'm going to enjoy this nice peaceful time before the storm hits. I saw some clips of Wei Shao grabbing Xiao Qiao by the neck again later on, I think, so there's a storm that is brewing somewhere!
I don't spread hate , but it is miracle that this drama became popular cause there many dramas like this .
That type of thinking undermines the hard work of the production, crew, and cast. It's NO MIRACLE this drama got this popular. It really isn't. The story telling, script, cast, acting, to chemistry of all the actors is really good. Just because you don't like the drama or it's not y our cup of tea doesn't mean it's some miracle all of a sudden. You're not spreading hate. You're giving your honest opinion and all of us respect that but to call it a miracle is a bit far fetched. This drama isn't perfect but most of the comments agree that it's one of the better dramas out there right now.
For reals, this is very likely going to be a masterpiece.
The episodes today were her pleasing him and the next two are him pleasing her, it's slowly but steadily building, so I know the writers knew what they were doing. It's aligning to be a masterpiece. However, I've been burnt so many times, I'll hold my breath for now too. Lol

I love to watch leads fall in love with each other scene by scene, step by step, handling state affairs and team building at the same time. This drama is thoroughly giving us so much fluff! I love what Qiao Man says to Wei Shao, so simple yet genuine. 😂❤️

This is an idol drama about love, so don't expect too much politics. I'm glad they're slowing down on the state affairs because a lot of us are here for the romance. I'm happy we get to see so many different sides to Wei Shao as a warlord, a son, a grandson, a husband, an ordinary man, a human being and vice versa for Xiao Qiao. It's a complete circle that way.
I adore Yang Zi and this is my first time watching SZE lead a drama, so no bias involved, but SZE is killing it in here. Perhaps her acting may never be your style or good enough for you and that's fine, but to others, the majority, she's SOLID. There are some people we'll never grow to like or enjoy their works and that's okay.
