It’s because some of us have been through hardships, loss, and death that we wouldn’t waste time chasing each…
Of course, LMT didn’t do any chasing. It was CXZ. The chase was too long for me. It doesn’t need to add up. We’re not on the same page and I respect that. But just wanted to say that all of us can experience the same thing yet have different opinions and that’s okay. We’re watching the same drama and have opposing thoughts which is fine, but you assumed that some of us didn’t share your opinions because we’ve never been through hardships and I’m here to tell you, that’s not true. 😂
I dont get when ppl watch a romcom, literally romantic fiction and then whine when the romcom has romcom tropes…
You can voice your opinion but I would avoid calling anyone, “You aren't "non feminist" or reasonable but rather meagre in mind and of low self esteem.” I mean, it’s fiction like you said, so why the personal assumptions? We can all keep it drama related, fiction, right? Calling someone “low esteem” yet saying stuff to them that would lower their self-esteem like “ like meagre in mind”.🤔
i just love cxz and lmts dynamic :(( cxz consistently showed up and helped reassure lmt's fears. this trope is…
It’s because some of us have been through hardships, loss, and death that we wouldn’t waste time chasing each other around especially knowing how dangerous the political turmoil is for CXZ. Thank goodness this is fiction. We can all have our own differences and complain about the drama, plot, cast, and acting but I personally wouldn’t assume anything towards anyone.
I agree. I don't think LMT has changed per say. It just seems that with her memory back she's more jaded. She…
Yes, I agree. With her old memories back, she can't be carefree anymore. She has other concerns like revenge, a ruined reputation such as Lu Wen's concubine, so it'd be hard to be CXZ's Wang Fei, and etc. But I wish we didn't have to assume so much. I wish they'd give us some of her thoughts that guides us to that path. Cuz you know in reality, a person may show that they love you and all but if they don't say it, you just never know or be sure. 😂😂 It's like that with LMT. I know she's rejecting CXZ for possibly a good reason besides being mad at him but because she doesn't say it, think it, or express it, it's hard to assume.
The angst wasn't good enough. Angst is what the short dramas do best now. 😂😂 People like drama so it's no…
The Starry Love was well loved whether it be domestically or internationally for its comedy, not so much this one. I think that's where this drama fell short in trying to be a comedy. That's all I'm saying. I think it'd be funnier and more balanced if the comedy didn't all fall on the ML's shoulders. Some don't find the actor who plays the ML funny, so the comedy doesn't work out. Zhang Wan Yi, the actor, is known for more serious roles so a lot of people don't expect him to do funny. I think he's funny though. Just like you, while the majority applauded The Starry Love's story and script plus comedy, you didn't.
Lol, please don't rely on dr google for assessments of the effect of amnesia on how you act!First, while injuries…
Nah, if the amnesia LMT was truly stuck in a prison, she would never return to CXZ in any lifetime. If the amnesia LMT was fabricated, the true her wouldn't love him in the end. But in this case, she loves him and marries him after a series of chasing. She doesn't have to marry him but when you love someone, marriage is naturally in the future, no? Unless she's okay with CXZ never marrying her? Of course, it takes two to tango WHY else would the writers of this drama use 14 episodes for the ML to chase the FL and receive her forgiveness? And watch, once they patch up, she'll go back to being the amnesia LMT, same mannerisms, same affection for him, caring for him, sharing his worries, fighting for him, and etc. Thus, the amnesia LMT is also her, that's a fact. But when she regained her memories, there was a disconnect in her persona which has everything to do with the poor writing. The writers suddenly lost their creativity in showing her wits and grace without spiting the ML all the time.

The only comedy is from the ML and his dealings. They should've balanced it well, so viewers aren't confused. The Starry Love is an awesome example of great writing for a romantic comedy if we can call this drama that. The entire cast contributed to the comedy.
You would think that Sun Yun Er would have some fighting skills but nope. She got slapped so easily and taken down in a snap. I would've liked to see a good physical fight between her and LMT. 😂
