Ah what a beautiful ending! Hong Yi and Yan Shuang are so cute together, what a power couple when they fight together.…
Yeah, besides a few sad stories like Hua Shu & Lan Feng, Feng Chi & Wu Gui, Xiao Zhu & Wang Yue...all the main couples have a happy ending. Hong Ruo deserves better, so I didn't care for Lin Mo.
I keep finding more reasons why I love the dream in Episode 35.
A Yin died believing two lies.
1. She believed that A Jin didn't love her because she's an insignificant passerby in his life. She believed that he was no different than all the other higher immortals who looked down on the weak. His humility was gone after turning into Yuan Qi. 2. She believed that A Jin regretted meeting her because she was the catastrophe he was trying to avoid, as others sought to sacrifice her life to protect his.
Thus, when Yuan Qi asked Feng Yin not to marry someone else after the wedding announcement with Hong Yi, Feng Yin asked Yuan Qi why he cares so much about her love affairs all of a sudden? Wasn't she just a lowly passerby in his life? Or is it because she's no longer A Yin but Feng Yin, the Phoenix Queen?!
I love how Yuan Qi clearly answered both A Yin and Feng Yin at the same time with his confession in the dream. Yuan Qi loves A Yin and only A Yin. He had to differentiate the two identities which are the same person but of different statuses. He's grateful for Feng Yin but his heart will forever belong to the insignificant water divine beast A Yin. It resolved one of the biggest doubts in A Yin's heart that has grieved her for over 1,000 years.
For over 1,000 years, A Yin has stayed in Yuan Qi's heart proving that she's no lowly passerby or a brief moment in his life BUT she is his life.
Then of course, the misunderstood regret is explained in Episode 37.
Hi, can anyone explain to me the plot of this drama?
Umm there's a synopsis and some reviews up there for more information. But if you have any specific questions, you can ask here and I'll try my best to answer.
In the dragon cave, A Yin healed Gu Jin's injured hand. Yuan Qi later heals Feng Yin's injured hand.
Yuan Qi waited 1,000 years and Feng Yin did the same. Unfortunately, Hong Yi and Yan Shuang had to, too! π But I'm glad Yuan Qi made it back just in time for their BFF's wedding.π₯°
Hong Yi isn't perfect but he has saved Gu Jin and A Yin many times. He's not that annoying. He's actually a very good second lead who competes for A Yin's heart. He could've been wayyyy more annoying and stubborn to leave A Yin alone.
My fave here got to go to Yan Shuang. Eagles are not pretty like peacocks and phoenixes, but Yan Shuang stands…
I really adored Yan Shuang too. She had a decent amount of time and development. I really liked this drama in that they focused on the relationships, so it wasn't forced chemistry amongst the friends.
Something YuanQi and HongYi have in common? is that they're cute, clumsy and clueless when they're in loveππ
I love Hong Yi. He fell in love with Yan Shuang a long time ago during their fake wedding but out of guilt and loyalty to A Yin, he couldn't move on. If he did, it'll be another less person remembering her and bringing justice to her name. He too grew up with the loss.
