The majority of people who had something bad to say about this drama are ironically ALP fans. Lol After I'm done…
While I understand where ALP fans are coming from, this thread is becoming ALP versus TLI. It's sort of pointless to compare the dramas? The directors, teams, to screenwriters are all different? A lot of us are enjoying TLI as a stand alone drama, so we don't have prior expectations that can really affect the watch value. I totally get it. I've read serval novels turned into live adaptations and was disappointed in the outcome but sometimes, we have to let go and enjoy the drama for what it is. This was produced by a whole different team and target, expect differences that won't be up to par. But yes, now that I've watched TLI, ALP will probably make more sense to me.
Another full circle or similarity: They brought Feng Yin back via a pagoda and also, Yuan Qi.
I'm actually sort of glad that they didn't do the epilogue of their child because like a lot of you have said, this drama is meant to be a youthful one, so having a child at the end matures the tone.
1. One thousand years ago, Gu Jin practiced his confession speech for Hua Shu with A Yin at their Forbidden Valley hut. In the dream, he confesses his love for her and only her at the same hut.
2. One thousand years ago, Gu Jin wished A Yin a happy birthday. In the dream, she wishes him a happy birthday.
3. For one thousand years, Yuan Qi/Gu Jin waited and searched for the lost A Yin in that busy street market. In the dream, A Yin searches for him in the same market.
4. The Forbidden Valley hut where Gu Jin and A Yin first met and lived together was the last place they stayed at before the destruction of Daze Mountain. A Yin was still sleeping on that bed. In the dream, that is where they returned to and begins with A Yin waking up from there.
I feel like fans are bit too sensitive. people are allowed to dislike a drama as long as the criticism is rational.…
This thread isn't that toxic. I see some of us engaging in conversations with differing opinions, but I don't think any of us ever stated that this is a perfect drama with no flaws. There's a lot of reasoning behind each post that I've seen. A lot of us just don't flat out attack and suppress people's negative feedback.

I wanted to wait for the ending first. Lol

5, One thousand years ago, Gu Jin broke up with A Yin at the hut. In the dream, he finally corrects everything and patches up with her.
