Personally I will agree that Cdrama have picked up their pace in the last couple of years and made me tune into them more compared to Kdrama (tho there are still 4-5 gems every year). However Thail BL are definitely a far cry from representing the best BL series lmao So tho I like BL I would def NOT reccomend those (there are only 2-3 worthy every year and the rest 30+ are overrated trash basically thai dramas value quantity over quality) and BL is more than thai dramas is a genre of it's own ^^
SML won't get the spotlight though 😂.. U wont get frustrated in that department.

This latest arc felt so choppy TT They have cut out so many important scenes that could help us connect and understand the overall picture better...Like I am all for the viwers exercizing their brains a bit and not getting spoon fed everything but this is too much...At this point it's like solving a puzzle and taking guesses on what convo went down bts between the characters for their current actions...

Duan Wu and Yan Zi Jing have finally talked and opened their hearts to each other about their pasts...Does that mean that their romance is about to begin from here on? Also, will there be any big misunderstandings between the two at any future point that will lead to their separation/rift in their relationship? (I always hate that trope where one or both leads let misunderstandings break their bond and SML suddenly gets the spotlight and the leads separate until solving their issues etc. So I need time to prepare cause my frustration can rise quickly TT)

So in this ep we got the Marquis to summon Mu Sheng and reveal to him that they are indeed half-siblings (like most viewers were already speculating from all the clues) BUT what triggered him to do that and how could he so easily connect Mu Shengs background without even asking him? Cause the only thing the Marquis knew was that flashback of young Mu Sheng trying to hurt his father in their residence...Except if miaomiao realized their sibling relationship and told the Marquis everything she knew? But still, this whole bracelet arc has been so choppy and leaves out many scenes, letting the audience draw their own conclusions about the conversations the characters "probably" had already! Btw the current revelations also mean that Mu Sheng's human half comes from his father (the Marquis) and so his mother is the demon! However for him to be accepted by the crescent weapon Fuyi said that the owner's fam should have a demon catcher background and weld such skills...And from the cast intro, his mother's surname is Mu? But how is it possible for her to be a demon tho? Also Miaomiao resembles the first Mu ancestor so much and they even have the same rainbow cores(after her awakening)! But the crescent weapon recocnized Mu sheng as the owner...And about the prophecy...What if both Musheng and miaomiao are needed to complete it?
Is it me or she is forgetting about outside world and immersing in the novel?
I mean I wouldn't blame her...She basically sees them everyday and they feel like real human...Her close family in real life seems to also not be with her anymore and she just lives a hectic adult city life...Plus she has grown emotionally attached to the characters (esp Mu Sheng)...But I am sure the system will " wake her up".
Maybe it doesn't really matter if the chosen one comes from the Mu family, since Mu Yao also thought the crescent…

OMG!! So it's the mother who has the cultivator/magic skills background okay!! But based on the past few eps weren't they trying to hint that his mother was a demon from Qilin mountain?? Or was that a smoke screen and it will end up being his father who's the demon?? Cause if his mother comes from Mu fam (family of demon slayers) she can't be a demon obv...Anyway, thanks for the info! Hopefully, upcoming eps will solve the mystery^^

Yes I have realized that part now...But there are still reasons that make him no-qualified...He is a half demon and that powerful crescent weapon is supposed to eliminate demons...Also in today's ep Fuyi said that even tho it wasn't the Mu fam it would have to be someone with aencestord who practiced such skills...But since Mu sheng's family tree is not clear I guess 1 of his parents might have such a background.

Oh, maybe. But then again, the weapon was drawn on the scroll with the Mu ancestor, and the Mu family are demon slayers. Based on Mu Yao's words, within the Mu family, it was known that the weapon belonged to their family and was used to kill demons. But yeah, let's hope they can wrap this up in detail later.

However we also know he was later adopted by the Mu family and he has no blood relation to Mu yao & the Mu family right so no known family of his has practiced as caltivator? So how was he the one who inherited the crescent weapon? And wasn't that weapon supposed to eliminate demons? So how can he as half demon be the chosen one? Also, the Mu ancestor and og owner of the crescent weapon shown on the scroll is the spitting image of Miaomiao...
The fact that the father had the bracelet and still had a hole in his heart and left the witch with no memories…
On ep 21 we learn that the reason the father forgot was caused by the dowager(his sister) who used the memory forgeting spell on him to severe his love for the demon/witch living on Qilin mountain...As for the bracelet...It really doen't make sense for it to be an enchanted object as a love token...I think there might be more to it...
