I have always been the type to not care if there are kisses or not in most of my cdrama or kdrama...For me plot and chemistry come first and kisses 2nd ^^ I mean the beauty of Asian dramas in general and distiction from most western media is that they can convey love through many different ways aside from getting physical...And that's one of the things I have come to apprieaciate and love about it! It gives a more romantic and pure touch to it! Ofc with that being said I don't mind plots with kisses or explicit scenes, in the end it just all boils down on how essential they are to the drama's plot, and here tho I would appreciate a kiss scene or two it's not a deal breaker having none either...

Oh really? The above MDL calendar said ep 30 that's why...Btw from the spoiler comments I saw before I thought after the ep 18-19 misunderstandings they were supposed to break up and separate? And that she would focus on her business...So I expected they were not in contract...That a rather pleasing spoiler to know thanks! I will start watching again then and hopefully, they get back together as a couple soon ^^

So I tried to stop before they separated and wait it out before continuing ><
Right now we are up to ep 29 correct? Has the misunderstanding between them been resolved yet? Are they working together again as one team? If not, how much more do you think it will take? If it's 2-3 eps I will start watching again today to catch up ><

Some theories and important points from today's ep!! Ep 26 was the most interesting ep we have had in a while for me!!

"Girl, you are helping him find his memories. Have you forgotten about something yourself? Girl, you must remember, that life is but a fleeting dream. You and him, only one can wake up"
That storyteller is either the author fr OR a character instructed by the system to remind her maybe because the story isn't going as planned after she forgot everything (and the system did try to warn her back then too)!! Also, the last part indicates that BOTH she and Mu Sheng are from the real world?? But maybe Mu Sheng already had a distorted memory of the real world by the time Miaomiao joined the novel (like how she almost forgot her real world now)!!

The crescent weapon has yet to merge with Mu Sheng and act as one which is why it has a will of its own!! And ofc we all know that this powerful weapon is used to eliminate all evil demons and stop the catastrophe...So seeing it react this much to Mu Sheng's aunt is proof that she is not as simple or kind-hearted as it was shown... Also, I still have a strong feeling that either this aunt or his mother will be related to the resentful woman...

There is also something very fishy about Fuyi's side...I bet that the little demon girl, the silkworm lady, and the local villagers are connected...It felt kinda eerie like the valley with the water demons arc...

The plot is truly thickening...I hope they can tie all loose ends and give us a satisfying ending!!

Fair point about Mu Sheng unleasing his demon form...But I guess she didn't want him to get exposed which indeed shows attachment...Well idk if I would be able to keep thinking of them as mere characters either...Imagine being in a world for weeks/months and everyone and everything around you feel like reality...I think we had some inner talks and turmoil were miaomiao was trying to tell herself that they aren't real etc. But she would end up giving in...Cause even if you know it's not " real" seeing someone with human flesh and a mind of their own get hurt must still feel shity?

No she didn't listen to the system because it was a life or death decision at that moment! The array set up was a literal "bomb" and the others couldn't supress it without her help...So I don't see how that makes her "choosing to go with the flow". I do agree with her trying to be more prepared and have a strategy and she might have not been the perfect FL with a halo but I think her flaws are what makes her more humane too...Cause I really can't imagine how I would act in her place...Cause is fun and games for both of us until you actually wake up in it and have no way out aside from listening to the system!

The girl is currently losing her memory cause of the system and turning into a real game character that's all I know! And I said to you earlier the choice happended without her knowing the side effect would be this...It was a life or death moment and needed the powers so whatever the side effect she went ahead and didn't even listen to what the system had to say...Cause if that demon's array in the capital went off she would long gone already and game over! You literally blame her for things she did unconsciously or had no control over it....I just can't understand what you want from her at this point...Like these things aren't even related to Mu Sheng and his "hotness"...And in the beginning girl had no feelings for him and just doing it with the purpose of hitting 100%...But guess what? Feelings can grow...And them falling for eo genuinely if anything just sped up the process so I don't see ur issue with that either...Sure you might not find mu sheng worthy of her but that's personal preference I guess...

Same here! This was the main reason why I felt the drama get too choppy on the bracelet /imperial city arc...And also because not only of the "not showing us rather just telling what happened" but also because some important scenes were neither shown nor told in detail but rather we just got to see the result...Overal that arc's editing was all over the place...I am glad the current arc feels a bit better paced tho and I hope the next eps get better cause the beginning of the drama was so strong...

How can you make someone genuinely fall in love with you (especially someone as suspicious and guarded as Mu Sheng) without putting any heart or interest in it?? lmao Also Mu Sheng heart is not made of stone(and neither is miaomiao's)...It's just that as someone who is guarded and has been hurt before it's hard to warm up to you...And basically, he is the type who will only care for those he considers "his people" hence the black lotus character reference...Whether she fears the system, accepts its rule or not...This is her only way to make it out of there...Whether she, you or anyone of us likes it or not..."Can she question for once that how evil the system is and if this game character Mu Sheng is a trap to keep her here and ultimately kill her. " Now...Are we even watching the same show lol If the system wanted her to fall in love with Mu Sheng to prevent her from leaving why did it set the rule of releasing her after Mu Sheng reached 100% ?? That's contradicting...And the current Musheng is deeply in love with her and already considers her one of his people (he literally said on today's ep he wouldn't mind dying to stop the catastrophe and save this world to protect his loved ones)
He would't hurt her...

We all know the og character had ill intentions for his sister...Before miaomiao entered her body the 2 siblings and Fuyi had already been living in her house and knew each other...Plus he found valid evidence of her being the one who broke the talisma on Yao's door on the very same day Miaomiao entered the body...So tho that was not her fault her acting like she cares for Yao all of a sudden and changing her attitude was 100% suspicious to Mu Sheng (as it should). It took a while after many tests to finally come and trust her good nature and realize it was genuine and no I don't think he only changed his attitude after the demon side reveal...This was just a big catalyst that sped up the process...You can see little changes earlier too!! Also, the system said that she had to win his love to go back home...So her actions of goodwill initially weren't pure-hearted as well and I don't get your "If I was in her place i wouldn't have given up on going back home ever. I love that he is hot but MiaoMiao deserves a peaceful life back home." comment cause her way to get home one way or the other WAS through her achieving 100% of his love lol
And also about this part " BUT is he really worth losing her memories over him and taking a huge risk of not being able to go home ?" She lost her memories as a side effect of her new powers...Which at the time she didn't know (the system tried to mention the side effects but she was rushing and had no time to listen) cause she needed to save everyone (herself included) from the demon's distractive array setup, which was about to go off...So it wasn't a conscious decision or an act of love for Mu Sheng but rather an act of her survival...

So about today's episode... I don't know if it's only me, but I have been feeling like Fuyi's master has been leading all four of them. The things he said to Fuyi and Yao about his identity, though not a lie, I doubt they're the full truth. It feels like he knows way more than he revealed, and he is just trying to lead them on by throwing them some clues. Also, Miaomiao's memory loss side effect after her powers got activated seems to be in full swing now...Girl has even forgotten the love percentage and everything but she still had the notebook she wrote the og novel plot on! So maybe that can give them clues about the city and Qilin Mountain...I start to feel more and more that this "resentful woman" might really have smth to do with Mu Sheng's mother...And I am very interested about Fuyi's backstory too!! His flashback looked quite chilling...

Okay, I think we are back on track after this new arc started!! I mean there are still many questions being raised every day but now we are at least getting some answers and the editing doesn't feel as choppy as it did in the Capital arc!! Btw most cdrama I have watched tend to have a very pleasing strong start, then fumble a bit in the middle before getting back on track again lol

Blocked?? I have no idea...Minority/Our youth which is the title of this manhwa the drama is based on is a very good story and it's even shounen ai I think so no too explicit scenes in it...Maybe cause of the bullying and domestic violence it has in the begining??

I just found out about this adaptation today from X!! The og manhwa has been one of my all time faves so to see it get an adaptation and bring the characters and their struggles, love, and whole journey to life is very exciting!! I hope they do this justice (tho I don't mind minor changes) and I will be tuning in for sure!! It's such a bummer tho that we only get 1 ep/week TT

Yes cause the og is a manhwa called Our Youth/Minority!! It's a great webtoon honestly one of my fave and to see it become a J-BL adaptation was so surprising!! I am so excited and hope they follow the og storyline well ><

Same Lmaoo When I was watching the ep yesterday I remember posing the ep and zooming in ><

Miaomiao's resemblance to the Mu ancestor might have smth to do with the system giving her those powers I think...Like the connection probably happened after this change to the plot occurred...The fact that she has forgotten her real world must be one of the side effects as well(as many have said already). Also, I think the resentful demon might be Mu Sheng's mother after all...It would serve as a nice tragic twist and have mother and son fight against eo...And I am sure the reason she turned resentful was probably the cause of what the Dowader concubine did to the Qilin mountain separating her from the man she loves and her son...Plus maybe smth to do with Mu yao's father (I think he wasn't a good man unlike what his daughter thinks and hurt her which is why she came back to kill the whole Mu clan). Now I am also VERY curious about Fuyi's master....Who is that old man? Could he be the author after all?? Is that why he is so knowledgeable??

Hm...Today's ep was okay!! Personally, I liked it since the plot moved a bit forward and some things got revealed, even tho there are still many things left to be covered overall!! I just hope those 8 eps will be enough and they won't end the drama sloppily...Also, today's ep felt a bit more well put together. I hope they will keep it up until the end cause the Capital arc with the bracelet was choppy af on some parts of the eps...Now about the missing kiss scenes, unlike most people here, the kisses are not a priority for me as long as the leads have good chemi & cute moments together (which they do) so I am okay with it ^^

True to that...Most Cdramas have strong begining but start to famble either in the ending part or mid-way through the drama...While krdama usually have better pacing overal! But these days lack a bit in their plots like there are still gems but more rarely than before...Cdrama on the other hand seem more creative! I guess u can say both have their strong and weak points ^^
