Finally caught up to ep 24 and the scene of Cui following them & watching her in the marketplace with Ziyu reminded me of ep 8 but this time it's our ML who is miserably watching them from a distance TT Honestly I REALLY hope there is more to it!! I can't accept my girl Liu who is usually so sharp, to let Ziyu off like that!! Btw their "divorce" era just started and I am already missing my CuiLiu being together TT Btw Ziyu and his passive aggressive jabs at Cui are making me laugh so bad...Bruh is so insecure and yet still uses his position to bully Cui and diminish him yet our girl Liu hasn't given her hear to him either lol So what are you so proud off? lmao

It's honestly been a few years since I read this book but the main frame of the story is still easy to remember...Maybe cause it hit me hard... Well in the series they seem to have sped up things a bit since Jiang Tian tho fell first for Wang he wasn't fast to approach him cause of his personal trauma. Jiang Tian's dad is gay, and back then he got married to Jiang Tian's mom while being in the closet and ended up having a secret affair with his long time friend....And to add to that, it was Jiang Tian who caught them doing the deed...That's what makes it disgusting to him & has inner turmoil with his own feelings for wang. That's also why his mom will be VERY much against their relationship...Also after their parents' separation, his mom was also not around & for a time he stayed with his grandparents...So that scene with Tian carrying the suitcase hits deep!! Wang's father will also become manipulative to his son in order to separate the boys...And basically, their parents will break up & change their schools to separate them...The boys will go through 6 years of separation but without ever forgetting eo before finally getting their happy ending... The 1st half of the novel is pretty mellow and mainly focuses on their school life and friend group with some exams, contests, rivalries and blossoming love. The 2nd half on the other hand gets pretty deep and angsty! Still a happy ending tho for our boys but with a time skip of 6 years!

Yes it's the 1st day! I think based on the first 2 eps they will keep showing us cookie clips of Jiang Tian's pove every ep >< I think this is actually better since in the novel all of his pov was summarized and dropped on the last part of the novel!

And rather than first sight love I wanted to say that Jiang Tian was infatuated with wang & interested in him ever since their 1st meeting at school! Most of the novel is written from Wang's pov but there are some of Tian's too!! Those are the clips we saw on ep 1 & ep2 around 45 min of the eps!! But at the time i doubt he realized & was in a state of inner turmoil for a while...Hence the sharp attitude around wang! Are you fine with some spoilers? If yes i can go into more details!

It's been a few years since I read this novel but if I remember correctly Jiang Tian's dad is gay, and back then he got married to Jiang Tian's mom while concealing it and having a secret affair o with their long time male mutual friend....And to add to that it was Jiang Tian who caught them doing the deed... It's been a few years tho since I read the novel but I think I remember for sure is Tian fell first for him and the reason he was "angry" & keeping his distance at first from wang was cause of the inner turmoil he was feeling!

This is a Taiwanese adaptation of the novel "Mou Mou" (某某) by Mu Su Li (木苏里). A great novel & author!! It's a coming of age, slice of life story with a slow-burn romance! In the beginning, it will focus more on their family issues, their school life/friends & of course the friendship between the 2 leads that will blossom into love!!
2. About their relationship, they are not blood-related, half brothers or even step-brothers since their parents are not legally married, but just dating (at least in the novel & so far in the series), they didn't grow up together and just met when they were in high school after their parents started dating and cohabiting under the same roof! It was love at first sight for Jiang Tian and the series shows us just as the novel did from his pov of meeting Sheng Wng on his 1st day at school!
3. The initial plot isn't original for sure, but the story and depth as well as the production crew working behind this are top-notch!! So to see the rating go down over some dmpos here is disheartening to say the least!
4. Just because the parents decided they want to be together does not grow a sibling bond between them. They know of each other's existence for like what a minute? This is like saying some random stranger at the mall is my sibling. Especially when eventually it was proved their connection was much deeper and heartfelt than their parents...Since their parents' relationship won't even last and it was more out of convenience, rather than for love...
The eps are so long and yet they ended so fast for me while watching...And as expected it's as good as I thought it would be!! I am also glad to see them follow the novel well!! ❤

Then I am actually glad if they change that part honestly into a more tame and concenting plot...And I don't mind the ML having to suffer a bit and chase her asking for forgiveness since he did decieve her!
