It looks like Duan Xu may be going back to the mortal world in the next few episodes and tbh I’m kinda looking…
Same here! Also I think it’s not really consistent with his character to suddenly only care about Simu. I wish he had gone to the void not only to be with her but because he had something else to do there to… like search for clues about his past, the sword etc.
I‘m not sure I‘m liking the dynamics between He Simu and Duan Xu in ep16, but I love the fact that Simu is wavering and Dilraba does a great job portraying that!
I'm not a Dilraba fan at all, but I did for some reason like her in ELOD. I think the vibe she gives off is usually…
Well he wasn’t a red flag, but also not one of those modern ML where the FL can trample all over them just to have a „strong“ Fl. But for what he did.. he rage baited FL a lot, he acted non-caring towards her but in the end always helped her, he liked invading her space against a wall, he made the decisions, he deliberately made her jealous .. all those things are not considered green flag. But then he’s also caring and warm-hearted. I found his character really interesting. What are your favourite not so green flag MLs?

Imo nothing beats his performance in Lighter & Princess. I know it was controversial because the character was not a green green flag but his acting was stellar. He was also wonderful in Love Story in the 1970s.

There is a very passionate kissing scene of them on YouTube. Arthur really went for it 🔥Hopefully they didn’t cut it for the final version of the drama!
i've watched a fair amount of shows, from tvb, to kdrama to cdrama to jdrama... pursuit of jade is special one...…
PoJ did not leave me spellbound at all! I agree what the other posters here wrote about the story. On top for me the romance in the first 16 ep did not work. It felt so fake. Either the actors couldn’t get it across or it was due to the writing. There was no face off in the ending. They clearly couldn’t decide in which direction to go with Qi Min character. He was a crazy villain through and through but then they wanted to make him look pitiful and more a grey character. But someone who tortures a child and his own at that (!) can never be a grey character and people who find him hot have a serious problem. Only memorable character was Wei Yan. The actor also totally stole the show, which was underlined in the unnecessary „what if“ sequence.
i think it was the feeling associated with the sense that she doesn't have. however, i was surprised on ep13 when…
I thought she felt the shaking of the thunder. Also I thought that she can hear, otherwise she wouldn’t have been able to have a conversation with anyone. But it was said she could not hear music. That’s honestly a tricky one because either you can hear or you can’t. I don’t quite understand it either.
