I think she likes scolding and confronting him. I‘m also sure that she is attracted to him. I‘m also sure that at the current point she would never give in to that attraction because part of her loathes him. I don’t think she’s afraid of him, she’s demonstrated that time and again. In ep10 she was obviously scared of the whole situation and because he was drunk.

I must say I enjoyed it more than Against the Current, but it’s all about personal preference. It delves deeply into the ink making techniques of that time. I was delighted to see that the famous Li ink was featured here in Against the Current as it was given as a present to someone.
