What happens in the novel and why would they make tweaks?

I thought she felt the shaking of the thunder. Also I thought that she can hear, otherwise she wouldn’t have been able to have a conversation with anyone. But it was said she could not hear music. That’s honestly a tricky one because either you can hear or you can’t. I don’t quite understand it either.

Now several die hard PoJ fans and the usual Dilraba/Fei Yu haters come here making unfounded negative comments and the fans of this drama here should just shut up?

Well you could just rewatch POJ if that’s what you like best. I found it mediocre. IMO acting in the first 16 episodes was quite bad actually, especially by FL actress. She got better then and the drama got decent after ep16, but then they butchered the ML. And we did not see a single real fight of ML. There was no face off in the end , very anti climactic. Also everybody was raving about how hot QM was - a character who tortured a child and his own at that! Come on. And don’t get me started on the parallel universe. Nonsensical.
I forgot to say how illogical her development to a super fighter was, an illiterate butcher who out of the blue became the best general.

Because his father is the famous director Chen Kaige. But Fei Yu is so good at what he does, plus extremely handsome, and has a physique that makes his action scenes look actually credible , so I guess haters take his father as an excuse.

Agree about Fang Mu Yang carrying the drama! And about Eat, Run Love.

I‘m so annoyed with them. Also I don’t understand why they pushed that other drama even manipulating the stats and this here they keep it down.

Yes, she did a great job there! I liked her in the Blue Whisper especially part 2, but here she’s wonderful.
