Just as Lucia said. The reason why it broke into 2 parts because in the modern time, the FL remember her past, and therefore clearly implied they are the reincarnations, which is against Chinese censorship 🤣

Technically, one and only and forever and ever is 1 drama, they split it into 2 to pass censorship. So overall, it’s a sweet on series lol

Yup, it’s slow, but people who want to watch for the details in the way the leads’s relationship develops as well as other characters will love it.

Uhm, this one will end with she jumps off the wall gate. Everyone (the fans that’s been waiting for it) knew it is the ending scene lol.

About the asking: she did got engaged, but it got broke off, so most likely it got re-engaged because the crown prince can’t let go of her. So no amnesia

The modern drama is about the FL, who still have the memory of CSY , saw the ML in modern time, realising he’s still the same person she once in love with, so she pursuit him 🥰 at least I think that’s how it goes. So same universe :) this one, one and only, and the next one, forever and ever are based on a book. In the book, it’s mainly about events in forever and ever, with very short flashback of one and only, but the station decided to do 2 parts to really flesh out the story 🥰

Every second a detail, every character is so well portrayed. Must watch xD
