Exactly this. She used moves that only ZY does. And MQ realised that immediately, that’s why he acts very differently toward QZY. After the battle, he doesn’t even need the pendant and can tell who’s who. The pendant just help him see/spy on her ghost form xD

Later on MQ said only her has that aura, that stance (I think her internal force + characteristics in fighting), only her can be that fierce, won’t surrender and fight to the end, to him, she’s so unique that it was a tell tell (and in the book, he knew her so well, that he didn’t need the pendant to tell him what exactly she’s feeling in regard to various stuffs). Plus the other three stuffs: the begging for life, eating of the Apple, and the saying your eyes are as beautiful as the sky that is full of stars. But the fight sealed the deal. Not the rating of the Apple. This was being clarified later on when they are on a date for the chinese valentine

Thanks :) the writer said she only mentioned Bai Qian when she’s Bai Qian and not when she’s SuSu. I just feel it like those male leads, born being a prince and therefore can be cool, but if you strip all those status, prestige, power, they aren’t so much (that’s why most drama barely strip them off those things lol, they always in danger of losing them, but never actually lose them lol)

Is this regard bong soon? Even though I couldn’t finish the series (it got boring and repetitive to me after a while), I think her character is strong in term of mentality, not just physical. Physically she’s strong, but as you watch the first few episodes, it shows why she also has such a strong mentality. That’s why I’m ok with her on the list :)

Yea, just like what chinesedramafan said, you just have to keep watching to get used to the horrible cut/editing lol. But overall, it’s a very refreshing drama with a bad ass female lead xD and best kissing scenes onscreen for period drama xD

Uhm, Bai qian when she’s Bai qian is indeed strong, but for half the drama, she isn’t :/ so to list her as being strong I’m not too sure. As much as I love TMOPB, I don’t think her character is that strong. When she is Bai qian, because of who she is, practically leader of the 9 tails fox, a high fairy, a powerful artefact, she has power and prestige to be bad ass. But when she has no power, a commoner, she has zero strength :/ While Bu Meng is indeed trying to avoid the emperor, however, she isn’t the first one to do so? I think the famous empresses in the palace, Sun Li’s character at the beginning also avoid the emperor? I just don’t think this list accurate :/ apart from the first one, even though I couldn’t finish the drama

Is your source reliable? Everywhere I read, it’s said that the fans are all up for the sad ending because the ML is a POS that doesn’t deserve a happy ending lol

I disagree :/ it felt more like her clothes hit his face rather than an actual slap, I know that’s how girl slap in drama, but because of that, I don’t feel the impact

If the story is based on a real figure in history, it will be examed carefully, to make sure they follow history and the drama just don’t make S$&t up. Why Haolan’s ending got changed. Historical drama based on real life figures also has a limited number of broadcasting time per station, they are only allowing to show 100hrs each year. If fantasy, not a problem, but if fantasy with real life historical figure, I think it applies? Anyway, complicated! And there is the latest ban on drama involved palace/harem fighting. Along with the existing ban: no time traveling, no ghost, no ghost trying to reincarnate, etc. sooo long story short, it’s getting harder for any fantasy/historical drama to get air. 1 more thing: if the producer thinks his drama is good enough, he might push for airing on national tv rather than release on web, and national tv has a stricter rules, and heavily censored than webdrama
