my take on them is they are making sure the love trial is going. since those two are high gods, needs higher authority to make them feel the urgency 🤣 look at baby BJS, he creates harvoc everywhere he goes, n no one dares to stop him 🤣

Uhm, I guess so. like I didn’t feel it miss it, but now u mentioned it, n then I looked back at say SOKP, that instrumental piece when XW kissed JXN in the carriage was lit! n someone did say the instrumental piece while HRY kissed BJS at the end n he has all the flashback to show he remembers everything was great n I agree, it has so much feel. but I think it’s a happy tune, so it can’t go with the sad bit in this drama

their clothes I think, is the easiest way to spot the timeline. when they were first down in the mortal world for their trial, they were dressed pretty flashy 🤣 vibrant colour. the second time, it’s rather plain colour (he’s no longer wear blue n shes no longer wear pink/blue). they were wearing almost a very pale blue or white-ish. also BJS’s hair: super white = when they were “young”, white with black undertone to give grey = now. black hair = mortal (if u can’t tell already lol). the story is a bit back n forth, just pay attention to it, n u’ll figure it out :) if not, come back here n ask/check

reason why Shi’An cant come back is because it will then kill the character’s growth, pain n suffering. but most importantly, this drama is trying to tell the story that is very similar to real life: not many couple can survive the death of their child. if they resurrect Shi’An, that basically tell us that their love can only survive because the child is still alive, n that means real life, we are doomed lol. so while it’s sad, it’s necessary for Shi’An not to come back

you also comparing 2 dramas, 1 with 70ep, n 1 with 56eps to a 36eps. just the time alone, do not giving SOKP time to flesh out support characters

cdrama censorship is like a river lol. it’s never the same! look at the episodes count. initially, everyone was strictly followed it. then one drama not, n ppl complained, so they had to wait for a whole year. but 2 years (or was it 3?) after, they are now shorten the time to 6mo 😒 I’m sure giving a year or so, we will be having a few months break at best n eps count will be back to 60+ 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

interested to know which other drama that does the “segue between first n second life” better. because if the drama u listed are mini web drama than that’s because there is no censorship on them. in the novel, the second life started after she X herself in first life. with limited episodes, they choose the most direct n fastest way to pass censorship n just get to the story lol
