And that’s right even if she was a nobody, everyone respected her like she’s the queen. They pay her for her time, she should work for as long as needed (reasonably), they don’t need to feel guilty to take more of her time, nor should we feel somehow taking more time should be an intrusive action because again she is paid for?!!

To me, SOKP is very different from other dramas, the plot is great, production value is good, too. Despite a few weird camera shots here and there and I put it as the director’s artistic choice lol. But the music is superb, the actors acted well, it has been a while that a drama was so gripping from the beginning to end and it doesn’t falter half way through or near the end. The consistency is a rare feat that I haven’t seen in cdrama in a long time. I’m not a fan of political intrigue drama nor palace revenge, and I tend to get bored watching them that I tend to FF if I happen to watch one, but I don’t need to for this drama. Only you can make the decision to keep going or give it a pass. I would say watch a few eps, if it’s not your cup of tea, it’s just not your cup of tea. ZLH is not handsome in here until the special episode, but because of that, his character shine for me (I haven’t seen any of his stuffs btw), and it is after this drama that I love him quite a lot. Anyway, happy drama watching 🥰

Erh, this is not a revenge story??? It’s revolving around JXN, not XW. For JXN, it’s a redemption story. For XW, it’s revenge but again, this is not his story. He’s part of her story, but it’s not about him at all. Your perspective is skewed, that’s probably why it’s not to your taste. And FYI, princess royal is also not a revenge story either, it’s about 2 ppl trying to redeem/fix their past life’s mistake.

@HushOfEvening So what if he is underweight? So what if he is because of this mental health issue or that disease that cause him to be underweight? Is it your problem? Nope. You blame the fans for letting him delude, but that’s simply not true. 1 - they wishes him to be healthy - how is that make him be underweight? 2 - they think he’s beautiful no matter what. This is to lessen the pressure he would feel to lose weight.
You and the anti fans on the other hand that keep chewing on this issue is the real cause of why he is “underweight”. He’s fine, let it go. So long as he has the energy to act, sing, fulfil his professional work commitments, you have zero right to keep hounding on his weight. Because you know after 5years+, he is still healthy and smiling and get work done, it’s a sign that you need to let it go, little ❄️

I know she’s a good actress, but time to get used to her might impact me keep going 😅 like currently I’m watching dark matter, a so-so drama, or so I thought, and out of no where, the second FL really pulled me in with her chemistry with the ML! And then her character went poof! And I have no more energy to finish off the drama 😅 luckily the episode after she went poof was kinda crazily intriguing so now I can go back to the finale, which is airing next week 😅🤣 or like the new season of the boyz, the ML was talking/arguing to this side character, and I’m like uh, why do they feel like they have so much chemistry and there’s more backstory I don’t know about and I need to know! Turned out they are real life couple! 🤣🤣🤣 sometimes chemistry just hit you in the face! Anyway, I’ll keep going based on your words 🥰

Haha, well I tend to have a preference of Cantonese over mandarin due to one is lower and warmer sounding than the other. SY’s voice kinds fluctuate, sometimes high pitch, sometimes normal, not too sure what’s happening there. Yea, will have to check out more, though sluggish beginning tends to not able to make me move forward due to I’m being too lazy to keep going 😅 I’m a bit too old/not have enough time to watch subtitles when it’s not exciting/has enough pull effects on me 😅
