lol, yes, the kiss scenes are indeed not smooth, but they were so lovely together in the snow, I will give them a pass. I treat their kissing scene as they are aware of ppl seeing them (camera shy), which should be how it feel for that time period and keep kissing in public places 🤣 I do love the kissing scene where they pretend to be each other, still slightly not smooth but very sensual and hilarious in a sense 🤣🤣🤣
Very lovely last 2 episodes. Not rushing, love the last episode, and how husband and wifey they act lol. I love that XZ is still as mischievous, and now SL is going along with it. I love their kiss on the snowy mountain, how “he” nibbled her lips but it’s ZLY who did it! Great job. And I love how while they were emotionally saying good bye, yet still managed to make me laugh just as XZ laughed and said that’s truly terrible! The only bad thing about the last 7 episodes is the choppy editing/plot holes (1 second everyone vanished when they meant to be guarding the thing, or how her sifu was meant to be in the battlefield went home to have a chat with someone 😒 lol). I wasn’t wrapped about the parents’ love story either. The dad did great, and the montage when the dad took over was far more emotional and memorable than that 2 eps they spent on it 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ I was going to give it 8.5 or 8 because of these 2 eps, but the last 2 eps redeem it, so I guess a 9/10 for me.

No, I’m with you on this. For the ML, it was consistent from start to finish. But the FL got a bit too subdued in the middle when in the novel, she was “forcing” it to keep going. So if we see her fight a bit, and even if this caused them to be out of sync, that’s ok as they are first timer. But there was time when her mouth/lips were moving, which make it slightly awkward/flat. But anyway, like you said it’s a pass lol. I’m so used to BL able to respond to different kissing scenes, as well as other great HK actresses so I’m rather critical too lawl

I have heard worse from her on my favourite dramas lol. So this review is actually quite mild. She has a few things she doesn’t like, but none of them drives her nuts to the point she must stop. For this drama, she just doesn’t have the motivation to keep going, so in itself, not too bad of a review. IDC about ZLY’s makeup too much, it’s ok. Not super stunning but not overly bad that one should be bothered by it really. I disagree on comment on LGX and how he’s “too fat” for the role 😒🤦♀️ and like usual, AvenueX is a person who is bias and she knows it and she follows whatever weibo said 90% of the time. The only time she’s against weibo is when a new actor got body shame, she’s sure as hell has no problem body shame other actresses because they are popular 😒 so like usual, watch it and be your own judge

Yea no. PA and TMOPB were so long, that could totally be cut down by at least 20eps. While I agree that 40eps do feel short sometimes, I don’t think we need to go 70eps or 90… I prefer them to just make a condense drama, but not rushing, dont need to be any length of episodes, just not restricted number of episodes because that’s dumb. If it needs to be a bit over 40, then let it be. Now we have everything 40, n that’s stupid in itself
