I do not like how the story is going… everything is sooooooo convenient! So easy to resolve! There is no conflict, no yearning between the two leads, for any dramatic moment! Like you know Ye Hua had to mop around for like hundreds of years over BQ, you feel that. This… uh! 🤦‍♀️ but then I guess this sort of drama isn’t my cup of tea. I hated the first paladin series, but since everyone kept going how great it is. I felt obligated to feel maybe I was misjudging it. Then come this series, which was ok initially, but as it keeps going, it gave me almost the same feeling (in term of I’m tired of the plot, the first paladin series is just soooo drawn out, pace of turtle and it feels like nothing was happening!). Anyway, something is not right for this series, or I’m just not into it even though this year has beeen sooooo crap, that even the best series of the year feel just passable 🤦‍♀️

🤦‍♀️ yes, I know who’s left. However, that’s not how shark works… but whatever lol. Put it this way, shark will be happy to eat human without a drop of blood in the water. So the fact is our girl is still in the water swimming, the shark would have sense it. And shark is a hunter animal, they don’t just immediately leave just because their meal hop on board lol. Anyhoo, you want to make sense of it, be my guess. From my understanding of sharks, this is just uh! 😒🙄🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

lol, at ep11, not a fan of this eye makeup! Not just Esther! It’s also the water demon dude! Uh! If I pay 100% attention to the screen, I’m seeing this makeup! If I only pay 80%, I feel like I’m missing out on the acting… the nuances… 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ really want to strangle their makeup artist! (Figurative speaking, they don’t earn enough, pls do not harrass them!)

Just pop in to say: haven’t seen Esther in anything longer than 2eps. Tried this one since the other failed to impress me. First two episodes were ok, not that hooky. But it was an easy watch. By ep5, the dad actor and his interaction with LMM really hook it in I say.
I have seen 8eps so far, and I only started from 4pm. It’s an easy watch, not that funny (ppl gave me an impression it’ll be a comedy), the humour is ok (but then I’ve seen so many dramas, nothing can impress me much/make me laugh out loud). Esther’s acting was on point, cute when needed to be, and is humourous at time. Her voice is fine, she can do modern Korean cute sound, and just a normal cute girl voice that isn’t childish. To me, her beautiful didn’t speak to me until she got possessed by ML’s talisman and “went home”. The contact lenses really ump up her beauty! Now the only problem I have is her eye makeup. Front on, it’s fine, side profile - it gave these weird draggy bottom eye lid effect. Idk why I’m seeing it but I wish she does less of that eye makeup lol.

While I enjoyed the drama, it kinda doesn’t have the “strong hold quality”, the feeling I must keep watching. I’ll keep watching because literally there ain’t many series to watch atm (in both eastern n western front).
I think one of the problem it has is no awesome song, the kind that is TMOPB n TTEOTM, where it elevates the scene through the roof. I’m willing to be proven wrong!
I would recommend ppl to watch this drama during this period because everything else is crap. But it’s not yet a 9 to 10/10 series. But I’m just popping champagne because we finally have something great to watch lol

“There is no telling” - yet the audience has to sit through 5mins of it lol. In that 5 mins, they can escape lol. Anyhoo, I haven’t bothered keep watching, n my comment is bury under n away from the shark zone lol, so u do u n I’ll do me 🤣

You wanted to argue yet you don’t reread your comment to hear how dumb it sounds 🙄 or are we going with the theory that even back then China has hunt down n fish up all the sharks for their shark fin soups so not many sharks left 🤣🤣🤣 if you think that nitpicking, I’m not even mentioning about her white skin, n my cousin is scuba diver 🤦‍♀️ who’s constantly diving in deep ocean, who used to obsess with keep her skin white, but since gave up because it was impossible 🤦‍♀️

There’s ridiculous logic but if the story is interesting, naturally, you will let it go. So far, the story isn’t, which is very normal for starting watchers 🤦‍♀️

lol… currently a lot to propel this series and its storyline lol. Like the mom tried to hold off the bad ppl, chick, it would be faster if you just push the boat and sail off, like the people was no where near. Like… you know they are doing this for the touchy moment, while it’s totally not making sense! Who would be a better sailor, a 10yo kid, or 2 grown a$$ women! If the odd of you three manage to run away from these guys are slim, what’s the odd of a 10yo sailing a boat from these guys will be?!!! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ make it make sense pls!

Erh… so shark would know the guy with blood got off the water… how? Logic! And the girl who’s been swimming in the water with the blood, moving in the water, just as big of a meal, just not worth his time! Logic! 🤦‍♀️ meanwhile many ppl swim in the ocean, with no bleed whatsoever, still get chomped by shark 😒🙄🤦‍♀️

Regarding the delirious cloth part, it’s the fact that she went from A to Z so fast, it’s like not making sense 🤦‍♀️ you can be tired, but not delirious. Acting tired, and acting delirious are two different kind 🤦‍♀️ but again, your logic is like down there somewhere 😖

Wow… I’m speechless… all that set up for nothing…🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ we create danger! But how can our FL get out of this danger? Super easy, the shark just decided to leave… 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ don’t let me started on the magical recovery after getting knocked unconscious on the bottom of the ocean floor… n then get up like you just fall down on the ground 🙄 here she recovered like it was nothing, yet the scene where she got the cloth covered her mouth, not her nose, she was out of breath 🤦‍♀️ and acting all delirious like she’s lacking in oxygen 🤦‍♀️

Uhm, the logic in this drama requires you to shut your brain… dropping some blood into the ocean = calling the shark appearing within 1s (ok… fine 😒) and then said shark was that smart n went straight to a diver grp that seems like 50m away like it has some sort of communication with the bad guy 😒 some real voodoo magic right there 🤦‍♀️ (didn’t bother swimming around the bottom of the boat to you know check out if there was anything, just immediately go off 🤣🙄)
It’d be more believable if one of the divers cut themselves on the corals than this🤦‍♀️

Yes. It allude to it. He gave her the knife so she can protect herself against Yan Lin, but she misunderstood his intention and killed herself instead. And remembered how he said she basically got his notice after taking him to the capital when she first gets back to her family and he was still poor

Maybe they shouldn’t have rush it and better control of the budget lol. But I guess this is cdrama, and their usual out of budget, rush production and choppy editing

He knows something amiss but he doesn’t want to dwell on it. I guess he follows the saying curiosity kills the cat. Plus he trusts her, so he just don’t think about it
