Again, lots of the good kissing scenes are done multiple times and if they both don’t want to repeat an outrageous amount of takes, we will get what we get. I’m ok with it as at least it look like he tries to kiss back but very reluctantly lol, which fits his characters

So that kiss that LGX did was definitely appropriate as it shows his hesitation and concern/worriedful state

Can’t suspend believe for the no scar and no time given for healing lol (because this show needs some scientific ground as it deal with investigations)

True. I guess that’s the problem: if you have a mortal life, essentially you only care for this one life, as it’s the only one you know of. You can pick who you love, from the pool of choices fate/the natural law give you. Pretty sure the lotus is his true love. The reason is if we take this story as a foreshadow, natural law always win (spelling doom to our CP), SL’s stubbornness at one can change fate, and what this story tells us is natural’s law will always win. Even though XZ’s meddle in it a bit, and maybe (we don’t know), all these past lives, the lotus has always bear the same face. So QY thought he picked the right one, turn out it’s the wrong one. Hence continue the karma circle, continue missing his love one.
