Yup lawl! Return of the condor heroes is a classic, everyone should know/watch it. Best version for me is the Louis Koo and Carmen Lee version (1995 I think). For other ppl, it’s either the older version or LYF and HXM version. Cold blood warm heart is an old tvb version, I love it a lot 🤣 I think I rewatch it at least 4-5 times now lawl. The flame daughter is pretty recent comparing to other ancient series I listed, but then I have a soft spot for Vic Zhou lol

Marmite sounds like vegemite! TTEOTM earns so much more profits than any other drama in term of merchandise, because of the 12 gods, the dong huang style. The rich characters made for easy merchandise. Compare say SOKP, you only have the 4 leads at best, in pretty average clothes (as in not many distinct styles). Even LYF, same thing, they just don’t have a library of characters that TTEOTM has. Plus TTEOTM even manage to boost local tourism, which NO drama managed to do so lol
