1) So at the time of him taking her to marry Shi'an he still didn't fully LOVE love her and was still using her…
If you missed it I did too 𤣠after she woke up the scenes with that girl were VERY vague with just like "don't go near her residence anymore with that face" being said. I honestly was personally wondering if it was going to turn out she was the OTHER other sister that he'd made a face for for the ML but then she showed back up herself so THAT was proved wrong and it's back to her just being a random person he brought in for his own desires to use her and look at her face.
Iām a little confused and have a few questions:1) Why did the ML willingly send the FL off to marry Yan Shi…
1) So at the time of him taking her to marry Shi'an he still didn't fully LOVE love her and was still using her to an extent. Had he started to have feelings for her? Yes, that's evident, but he kept holding himself back because of "her" role in the massacre. When the peace-keeping marriage was announced he went with her partly because he was ordered to, partly because it would allow him to set that other lord up, and partly because he wanted to spend every last second he could with her. You also have to remember that right before his subordinate had been "killed" by her in the dungeon right before his eyes... If you go back and look it's not until he is ACTUALLY leaving her to go back that she feels the LOVE flower BEGIN to move.
As for why he has originally said "No" in ep.19, previously when he found out she had NOT killed his subordinate and had in fact saved and treated him, he was asked if he was going to go take her back and he said no BECAUSE he has nothing to give her right now, he's consumed with his need for revenge and to clear his family's name. He doesn't think he deserves her and even though he realizes he loves her he's still holding himself back. So when she comes BACK and interrupts the wedding he's briefly still in that state of "she's safe and far away from this mess" so he says NO he didn't love her as a brief way to push her away. Obviously that didn't work as he gave into his desires like 2 moments later. š
2) We were never told WHO she was, just given a vague idea that she is someone Shi'an is using. If you look down in the comments there are some referring to her as "the prostitute" which, while we weren't given any specific clues (that I remember) specifically and explicitly stating this, it does make sense.
Everything we've been shown so far though says that the origami died by being stabbed right after the switch and was sadly killed by her lover, yes.
100% - at this point, even if they somehow mess up the last episodes (which it doesn't SEEM like they will but there's still that possibility) the show has a rather interesting story, it has revenge, forbidden love despite truly hating the person, angst, a dash of spice (not heavy but more tantalizing and alluded to) and a rather refreshing concept of the ML starting out as a ToyBoy and working his way up rather than the other way around with a FL starting as a low concubine etc for instance.
i am having hard time in just ep 2 (reading more than watching these days). Does it get any better?
Gotcha! Well it's not over so I'm not sure how it ends obviously but they aren't really red flags for each other... ML is sort of a SIMP for FL and she does some things deliberately to push him away to further her agenda but it's not really heartbreaking since he knows what she's up against, it's more like "why is she choosing THIS path? Why won't she let me help her" imo.

I suppose it depends on what you're having an issue with in ep 2. š Are the subs to dense and fast? Is it too confusing? Do you not like the theme of XYZ?
She already have some memories back but she cannot understand them.I know they will switch back faces. I wait…
Oh, I turn "skip intro/outlook credits" on after watching them once at the beginning so by now it's been a while since I've seen any of those scenes but you're probably right since that would follow story-wise.
Looks like they are indeed making it match up with domestic calendar. Today had just one episode (16), so the rest should probably be 1 ep a day til end.
3 eps left... She better get her memories back š Or at least enough of a flash of them to realize who she ACTUALLY is and that Shi'an been lying to her since she woke up with no memory.
The international version isn't following the domestic calender so no way of knowing. For instance their calender had 1-5 then 6/7 and 8/9 before going 1 ep a day at ep 10. But we had a 2 ep 10/11 today. Maybe it will be 1 ep a day from now, maybe it will be 2 ep for 12/13, 14/15 and THEN go 1 ep a day as that would make the calenders line up again š¤·āāļø
I just finished 9 myself and this girl is RUTHLESS š - I'm loving how intricately they are weaving this even with the episodes being as short as they are... A LOT happens each episode.
I am in LOVE with this show already š„š„š„ This might be the first time I have ever actually slowed DOWN a mini to make sure I'm catching all the dialog rather that rewinding it constantly š¤”.
I don't even care about the rest of the show... episode 3 I could rewatch multiple times just by itself!
Better story than Forever Love at least. Their acting isn't bad but he's definitely allergic to shirts in the first half of this one š . DGZ really needs a script where he can show off his acting again instead of just his body.
Makjang? Oh no. It is what I dislike the most in Kdramas. Why do you say it would be considered makjang?
Everything is over the top, especially in the second half where past family secrets are flying, companies are changing hands, lives are threatened and more š . Personally I found the second half actually more enjoyable than the first since the first half had glaring issues that were never explained such as the kids not being seen for a while for no explainable reason, or being taken and looked after by her friend for "some" reason... and basically only showing up to block intimate scenes half the time.
You also have to remember that right before his subordinate had been "killed" by her in the dungeon right before his eyes...
