I'm not sure where you're at but I will say that there seems to be a nuance to WHY they are painting the mother in a bad light. The father is dead so he can't really have any additional scenes that would prove how the ML and FL currently feel about him in relation to the scenes happening, but there was that one scene where the ML basically let's his disdain for his father known when speaking to his mother...
Where it is saying SHE is wrong, other than criminal actions, is that as he was growing up she refused to show him ANY kindness no matter how much he wanted a loving mother and then later pushed her own actions onto him at a young age, forcing both him and the FL to start TRULY drifting apart as the misunderstanding began. By the time the truth has come to light it is too little too late for the FL, too much fear and hatred has been simmering inside her for too long and so yes, she TOO blames the mother because she had options (they weren't GOOD options but they were still there, the FL is trying to escape after all while the mother just sat there and became bitter and hateful...).
Ep 20 looks like some things were cut to save time on again. I'm personally still absolutely loving this but it makes me wonder how some people are thinking the show is slow when they have cut out so much and it feels like it's basically breakneck speed storytelling most of the time in for me 😅

My other thing so far ( and I will admit to really liking the show despite this) is the camera has shook so much in some of the scenes I've felt physically sick watching the scene
😅 Binged this in an evening. I enjoyed it... It sort of reminded me of a mix of Stolen Love and A Tale of Love and Loyalty (which the FL was also in). The story was overly simple which makes sense sense as some of the episodes had less than 8 minutes of actual runtime minus the credits.
I think that's because when it was FIRST uploaded to the app episode 8 didn't have English subtitles at ALL.... and then when they were added a few hours later they were out of synch. But before the next episodes came out they had already fixed the issue on the app so I'm not sure why no one has done it on Dailymotion 😬
🤣🤣🤣 This is 💯 a bodice ripper in drama form right down to the "I can't have these desires, he's my enemy" but then as soon as he forces her she's giving in to her desires and he's all "see... your body won't lie" 🤡
1st 5 episodes were interesting. I kept getting distracted and slightly sick from some of the shaky camera motions that I don't "think" were intentional but 🤷♀️. They worked with the FLs features to highlight her to have an androgynous face which leads credence to her being a Guy instead of a girl so A+ for that

They make it seem like she absolutely did not and was ONLY using him, but then in the last couple episodes it seems like they realized that wasn't the way to go either and have inserted her wavering in the past which goes completely against her shown character design 🤷♀️ Then there was that scene in the first episode where the ML was all shocked and sad when the "good" sister died and cried over her body but ALL of the flashbacks so far have had him hating the "good" sister and ONLY being in love with the FL 🙄
It's an interesting concept and I will ABSOLUTELY finish it... but I'm sad because it could have and should have been better than what they are giving us.
This is such an odd show... I'm not minding the story, I think it's actually rather interesting... but the WAY it's told with all the back and forth flashbacks are odd and make me confused about which timeline I'm watching 😅

I no longer have ANY idea what's ACTUALLY happening but I'm INVESTED and glued 😅
Now that I've finished it... Yeah... if someone were to ask me what the ending was HEA/SE/OE... I'm not sure I could tell them and be accurate 🤣🤷♀️
