I tried to watch ep 1. It's okay, I think, but I don't like the way they edited it. The choppy scenes and annoying…
I do think the 1st episode is the choppiest (perhaps because it was NEW and so not used to the flow) but overall the editing is very much... chaotic variety show style. 😅 As for the sound effects... yeah those are all over the place as transitions.
A smoother edit and flowed show would absolutely be 2099 right now so if you try ep 2 and still don't like it maybe give that show a go. (Though with that one I had absolutely NO clue what was going on in episode 1 and things don't really "start" until ep 2).
🤣🤣🤣 I'm not sure which is worse... NO synopsis or THIS synopsis which is I'm assuming both slightly wrong (based on first episodes) AND massively spoilery for later on... 🤡
anyone knows what this is about? I just adore Wang Ze Xuan and want to see him as a lead.
This is out now. Can't find a symposis anywhere but watched ep 1 and seems to be multiple men/women locked in an inn for a period of time and when the time is up couples will marry, anyone not coupled will die. Also "seems" to be in a game world.
hey, I trust your judgement, my friend. I dropped this loooong ago but just curious what you think now...?
I actually haven't watched past episode 8 yet😅. Not because I wasn't liking it but because my brain has been fried recently and I celebrated just finishing Destiny after several attempts where it's 10 min episodes were taking me 30-40 minutes to complete 🤡. I'll pick this one back up "soon" though. Right now I'm MOST excited for Just Wanna Be With You which starts tonight (5/13). It managed to only on "ice" for 2 months somehow which I find amazing since the ML was in a HUGE scandal (now whether "I" think the "scandal" deserves blacklisting and drama banning is another thing) where they were even in talks to initiate vertical drama background checks and morality checks before filming in the future....
Sickeningly sweet. Sure.... you have to turn off your brain a bit or laugh at the caveman kiss "attacks" if those aren't you're thing but for a fluff romance it was cute.
I watched the first episode and dropped it. But, considering picking it back up from reading the comments. Can…
The ending is "good". As many of them go it could always be "better", but up to literally the last minute there were still twists being revealed. Saying anything else would be a spoiler that would ruin your watching experience.
🤣🤣🤣 That ending got me. This was such a weird show. It has the feel of a vertical drama where someone has ALL the facts in front of them yet they repeat the same 5 lines of dialog over and over refusing to believe reality and we keep watching (I those ones "repeaters" 😅). Needless to say this is FIRMLY in guilty pleasure, brain-rot territory 🤣🤡
I just sat and binged all 13 episodes out... While the subs leave A LOT to be desired there are only a few things that I'm actually TRULY not sure about (the side plot with the "criminals" being #1 on that list) otherwise though the story weaving is addictive with layers being pulled back as one character then another and another uses and betrays one eachother.
I share those conflicting feelings. I really liked that old-fashioned drama and the lesser-known but talented…
🤣🤣🤣🤣 - I was like "WAIT.... so they NEVER showed the kid again.... IS she coming back or not??? But yeah, she made that convincing statement to her senior about how if someone keeps showing their colors (or whatever she technically said) then why stay there waiting and I was like "omg you GO GIRL! LEAVE that cottage this dude set up for you after divorcing you".... But then she heard about the probable coup and ran back 😮💨 Okay, I get it...
BUT THEN THEY PROVE TO US THAT HE LITERALLY ONLY DIDN'T TRUST HER WITH THE TRUTH! I had thought "okay this is dumb but it was a plan between him and the Princess only, OTHER people were kept in the dark also... then they just HAD to tell us that CLEARLY NO, at least SOME of his family knew because he told his brother and sister in law. 🤣🤣🤣
🙃🙃🙃 Finally that VERY last minute "bye im running off to play with the plague" and she's apparently gone for 6 months 🤣 good for her I guess 🤷♀️.
Yes this is a contradictory statement: I REALLY enjoyed this show, it was one of my favorites of the month, but it was a crap show and the last 2 episodes (ESPECIALLY the last episode) made me want to throw my phone and punch the writer.
So on one hand it's a happy ending because they are together again but also she is saying that they will "start…
Truly makes me wonder if after hearing The Demon Hunter Romance ran THEIR ending through an AI program if they didn't do the same here since those last episodes made so little sense compared to the rest. I HONESTLY thought we'd be getting a Broken the Heart ending.
So on one hand it's a happy ending because they are together again but also she is saying that they will "start…
you know what... I think that's now my Canon take 🤣 - He's dead, she can't handle it and either dies because of that dad or just goes crazy and offs herself 🤷♀️ And then the rest of it is some weird coma dream
So on one hand it's a happy ending because they are together again but also she is saying that they will "start…
🤣🤣🤣🤣 Tell us how you REALLY feel - yeah see they didn't land EITHER a proper "look, he's ACTUALLY (somehow) redeemed himself" OR a "She FINALLY escaped and is FREE" so yeah. I suppose the scene with him "dying" COULD have just as well been the shows ending and then the parts after it were all tacked on to make the OTHER side happy because it was after the arrow death that everything just plain stopped making sense.

Those not sure what you're getting into but still curious, here's the trailer: https://youtu.be/MJQiffNaubs?si=SDUcHYLG2DNrcVCD
