So this might be a dumb question but when exactly was the note cause I apparently missed it... (mixture of I broke my glasses and I'm hosting a WP so it's on my laptop instead of my phone and harder to read everything and I honestly am not liking the ML/FL together and keep zoning out π )
I was also like really? Is he acting or what?! Same face whole drama...
Ugh I feel like they're gonna pull a "this is what he found out" because he simply asked if she poisoned his mom originally and there was the whole "do you really think I could I would" or whatever she said... then he left. THEN he came back and was like a completely different person π¬ and he made that comment about "who's your enemy, who killed your family, why won't you tell me the truth" or what not... so I'm wondering if he somehow found out she was there to for HIM for his amber heart and is feeling betrayed. Cause his actions and words went beyond "you weirdly tried to poison my mom who's being a b* to you".
I donβt think there was any other way for his character to go because while he was in a tough spot, he did execute…
Ikr... they had to walk him back and be all "it was just because I knew the truth so I was playacting π π€‘π€£ Come on dude, at least be 1/2 as ruthless as the FL.
For real...His face just one expression in this drama. π€£
Idk about you but It's even funnier to me though having seen so many of his shows and knowing that he CAN act and express himself... I'm just watching it wondering what the direction was? "No, stop, too much emotion, you are supposed to be emotionless let's do it again" π
would you recommend some other series leads by him?
Haven't seen his support roles aside from My Girl (he was awesome there though too). But basically pick anything from his catalog and it's good. Mostly it just depends on the type of show YOU like to watch rather than the show itself. For instance he was REALLY good in My Lethal Man but if you don't like a slightly toxic, over the top soap-opera/Makjang-esk drama where the logic makes almost zero sense π then no matter how good HIS acting is you won't like the show. In a similar vein, if you don't like slightly hand-wavey due to censorship, save your loved one by any means, time loop shows, you won't be interested in Present, is Present.
π Essentially, I recommend everything if you read the synopsis and think it sounds like a good plot that interests you. π
Why I'm not suprised π anyhow I'm still enjoying the ride, to see how his character is the most fleshed out…
It's cause Mu Ran SCREAMS 2nd ML "nice guy" with mommy issues. Idk, if they do end up actually staying together as a couple in the last episode I think they'd be similar to the people who end up marrying their husband/wife's best friend because they can reminisce about their loved one together.

1 episode left.... She gonna "live HEA with a man" or decide to live alone you think? Ahhhhhh I'm so upset right now but it was so GORGEOUS and the pretty effects of the gu's (I assume that's what they were) being released)
I don't watch mini-series. I can't watch short series. The reason is that the constant episode changes without…
Honest question, do you watch movies? Because if you do, most movies tell their story in 90-120 mins. Many of the higher quality mini dramas are 3-5 hours long when compiled into a "full version" on YouTube. Sure, many are exactly what you say, practice essentially; but there are a LOT that are honestly better put together than full 45 min dramas with padding and filler.
I looked into Enslaved by Love when it started airing but people said the plot is bad... is it true?
It's not "bad" per se but has a niche and is slightly odd even in that niche. Essentially the major issue is they set the ML up as a major red flag and he does bad stuff to FL for "reasons" but then there's basically a switch flip and all is forgotten and forgiven. They do the "smallest" amount of FL getting "revenge" back at him that isnt really anything. Essentially, they didn't want to fully commit to the character so tried to make the audience forget what had happened.
I finally finished it! Almost considered taking it down to 9.5 but nope. Full 10/10 since that last episode literally had me have tears in my eyes.
I haven't laughed out loud this much with a show consistently from beginning to almost end in a LONG time. The parodies were top notch with great spins and the heartfelt moments were deep and meaningful. From a plot aspect it wasn't "perfect" and there were some minor holes due to moving the story along and not needing that plotpoint any longer, but by far this was one of the best shows I've seen this year.
