Article is assuming they are dating but it's not really confirmed, well her company denied while his admitted…
Except he said they were dating AFTER her 'agency' said she wasn't. Why would his agency #facepalm him like that? They could have just stayed quiet but instead decided to insult their own artist by issuing the reverse statement HOURS later? You sincerely believe that? Get a clue.
He's an Idol Kpop star & actor. She's a newbie-ish actress with only one main role to her name who is 5 yrs older than him. In Kpop world, idol fans go after their biases' love interests with a vengeance. It's more likely that it was a kneejerk reaction by her agency, during a time of national mourning, to quell any interest in this topic to protect their talent from ridicule.
I actually think it speaks volumes for Fantagio and him that they turn around and admit they're dating so quickly after her agency's denial. It means this dude spoke with his agency and made the decision to go public over her. That means he must have truly strong and sincere feelings for her and is willing to put himself and his career on the line for her. Many Kpop Idol girl fans become angry and demand Idols leave groups for coming out as being involved or, god forbid, MARRYING someone. Based on each of their celebrity status, he has far more to lose doing this than she does, albeit, suffering from the likely online personal attacks saying things like, "..you don't deserve him..." etc etc have got to be hard as well. It's just that, as far as status, he has farther to fall in exposing the relationship. That's just the way today's Kpop industry works, whether you agree or disagree with it.
I'm actually very pleased he came out with the truth. Just means the guy has a good character and is sincere towards her. Good luck to both of them, and I hope they both have bright futures, separate AND together.
Although, not a psychopath, Yeon Seok has played a lead with questionable character, like Lee Seung Yeol in the movie 'Perfect Proposal'. I like him in a thriller type drama/movie. He's such a good actor.
This is today! So.... Happy Wedding Day! May it be the most beautiful and wonderful day ever.
On another note, Hyo Jin has got to be the luckiest woman in the world. She gets to have this man read a bedtime story to her every night. Women all across the world would die to be in her position. LMFAO. Forget his singing, which is so soothing it's like hot chocolate on a lightly snowy day; if you've not heard his speaking voice, lol, even in English, you're missing out. It's perfectly made for radio or audiobooks. hahaha....
with park min young's alleged lover they didn't have any problem in saying he was rich but in this news they don't…
That info wasn't provided as a way to say, 'Hey, look. This actress has got a rich man." It's more about the way that man is rich and his business that's the issue. There are issues surrounding the way that man got rich.
Anyone who follows K-Dramas should know that problematic financial dealings and connections are looked as disfavorable by the South Korean public in general. Hell, many actors/actresses have to answer for their estranged parent's actions and unpaid loans as if they are responsible themselves for other's actions. That's just Korean culture as of this date. Nothing's changed.
As far as I know, Jin Ah Reum doesn't have these kinds of issues nor does Nam Koong Min, so their financial dealings wouldn't be a source of comment by the media.
On another note, after seeing Nam Koong Min in We Got Married, over a decade ago, it's about damn time this guy got married. lol.
He's an older man in not good shape. Knowing her health habits, I seriously doubt this. He's likely around her based on his connection to her agency. Nothing more, nothing less. ...next.
LOL. That's the CCP for you. If you check the link you can see that it's been updated to 2023, and only being released in HK... which, you know... is a thing... lol.
This is why the "reviews" on this "kisskh" website are so baseless and nonsense... Most of the time it makes…
Those are exactly 3 ratings from 3 people who hadn't even watchd the entire drama. The 3rd rating is from someone giving it a 10/10 after only watching episode 1. LMFAO.
I read the reviews here and most of them are quite lengthy and give a lot of feedback that helps you see how they came to their decision. Nothing dumb or ignorant about their feedback, and not haters disguising their reviews. A lot of them like both actors and were stunned at how bad they both were in this drama. They gave specifics as to why they liked it, and a lot of them beared through the entire thing despite it, which makes them oh so more qualified to review it than the screen shot of IMDb you've given us.
Btw, there are negative reviews that state that it's not necessarily poor acting on their part, but that the script is completely horribly written and boring. So, the hate isn't towards them but the drama itself.
Easy for you to judge her. I think she was very hurt herself, and absolutely didn't want to hurt the people who…
You know what is sad to me? That there are people who think the way to be empathetic and sympathetic is to condone this idea that suicide is a natural way and a proper solution to deal with problems in life for "certain" people. She wouldn't have even brought up god and hell if that thought hadn't crossed her mind as well... and why is that???
Why do we bother to have suicide hotlines, and discuss this around the world as a problem, instead of something beautiful, if it wasn't a sad and horrible fact? That someone expresses there should be another way to deal with issues in life other than suicide but here we are saying it's okay, for those 'certain' people if they feel life doesn't work and it shouldn't be considered a travesty? Then should we not just erase those hotlines and help since they aren't good enough, while people publicly cry that it's a proper solution for some, eh? What's the point to give mixed signals? Does that relay something people struggling can trust? Why would they when you say on the one hand, 'get help', and on the other hand say, '...if help doesn't work, it's okay to kill yourself anyway..'?
This all amounts to excuse making as a way to show some misplaced idea of love and empathy. I see comments like this, that have dozens of likes, and think, '...I've seen people like Stephen Hawking, who was married twice, once for 30 years, and then for 12 years, who lived to be 76 and achieved so much. Could there be a human on the planet who had to suffer and deal with so much difficulties to achieve his dreams and successes???.."
Mental fortitude must be genetic.... when a whole society deems taking your life as a good excuse to solve problems. I'm glad I don't live in that society, but instead one that praises someone like Stephen, who sticks it out in life until the very end and rises above it all, including horrible disabilities, not just merely being rejected for a job you want, showing that, no matter what the issue, if you have the right mindset, you can do and be anything you want in life, and be happy..... How many years have we fought to show certain kinds of people, who once were said to have no value, to be worth more to the world than anyone could have thought at the beginning, when, in ancient history, they were thought of as hopeless and throw aways... and now we're back to saying someone who feels worthless should be respected for taking the option of killing themselves... Wow, it's so sad seeing the cycle of life where history starts repeating itself.... just when I thought society was getting better, we start to revert back to the base level of what humanity was at the beginning -- people who are treated worthless, and feel worthless, are worthless, and thus better off not existing. Because realizing this is what she's saying about herself, and that's the thought that's being condone as a proper excuse for her to end her life, needs to be clear as day. That's what's truly sad here.
Not surprising and kinda expected. Ye Jin sorta outed her at her wedding, so she ended up publicly disclosing who she was dating at the time. Ye Jin's actions were pretty obvious. Ye Jin made sure Hyo Jin was the one to get the bouquet on purpose. They're really good friends, so, I pretty much assumed the action was cause they know they're planning on getting married or she's ready to get married and wanted to give her and her beau the push to do it. lol.
It's not Tencent's fault. If Tencent could air it out right they would. It's the CCP and the censorship board.…
Thank you for bringing up Oath of Love as an example of something you think the broadcasters had control over the airing.... least we forget about the set airdate and the pulling of the drama just 1 day before the scheduling.... during the whole Kris Wu mess and various wiping of other entertainers from the public eye and their social media and past archives wiped, and others being seen in group pictures posted by the authorities regarding their "re-education" back in August, 2021.
[ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxnoPBz0BYI ] Of course the standard line is scheduling conflicts but even Chinese know and speculate as to the reasons for the postpone amidst a crackdown of the industry. Some are still suffering from that sweep and are still canceled by the govt... so, let's not get cute and say otherwise.
I haven't seen Tencent talk about it. Those I trust to give the list of LICENSED dramas ready to air haven't mentioned it... there are just "rumors" that it's supposed to air this month... but we'll see... but my main point still stands... the decision isn't Tencent's to make.
It's not Tencent's fault. If Tencent could air it out right they would. It's the CCP and the censorship board.…
WTF are you even talking about. If there IS a TV slot issue that is SPECIFICALLY a CCP issue 100%. Why? Because ALL time slots across ALL platforms within the mainland, where this drama is slotted to air, are 100% controlled by the CCP governing Censorship Board. They make the airing schedule, PERIOD. No license is issued without their consent AND a slot. There are many dramas and movies that have opened up a Weibo account and posted trailers, posters, etc without a license and a time slot.
Again, Douban has tenatively indicated it will get an air date this month, but since it's already halfway through the month, and CCP have issued licenses to a slew of dramas this month, it's likely NOT gonna happen. Again, that's not Tencent's fault.
It's not Tencent's fault. If Tencent could air it out right they would. It's the CCP and the censorship board.…
Douban indicates that it's supposedly airing this month on the 'mainland', BUT it hasn't been posted and given it's official registration yet, so that's just rumor/leak from Tencent in hopes to keep interest and push CCP to make the release. All Chinese dramas have to go under strict scrutiny by the CCP. There is no FREE speech in China. You toe the line of their political philosophy and ideology or you don't get out to the public. They need to make sure there are no "subversive" thoughts or ideas conveyed in this drama. Being how conservative the CCP is about airing dramas/movies regarding 'romantic relationships', and the topic of this drama.... I expected the CCP to hem and haw about whether to allow it. ....it's not really matching their template of proper displays of relationships....
If frustrating people is competition then tencent is surely the winner
It's not Tencent's fault. If Tencent could air it out right they would. It's the CCP and the censorship board. They issue the registrations for airing and on what channel and what dates. The CCP don't give a shit about what we, especially international fans, want to see or not. They cannot air it until the CCP gives the go ahead, and more often than not, this takes 2-3 years on average from post-production.
I just want to understand so no take this as me slighting your oppa .From my previous understanding he did beat…
"your oppa"... he's not anything of the sort. I'm 53 years old and have 2 boys, 1 is 21, the other 24. He's just an actor that I've enjoyed watching over the years, much like JD isn't my "oppa" either. He, as well, is an actor I enjoy watching. Why does my attitude have to do with some kind of romanticizing of the person. Stop generalizing attitudes. That is also the problem with cancel culture. It's also a very similar statement to what Amber Heard's PR firm tried to push out to the public, that the only supporters for JD are "stans" who obsess over him. The trial proved otherwise.
Again, what much of the headlines state and what you read online is pretty much bullshit. What you think you know isn't always accurate. [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPS6QBm9ZtI Watch these American lady lawyers discuss just these kinds of facts and how appalled they are to discover that Legacy Media outlets are less the spot on about anything ~ And Emily D Baker, former L.A. prosecutor, was 1 of the 1st to cover Britney Spears case BEFORE we all found out about her father and company's likely embezzlement and erroneous medical necessity surrounding Britney & her estate. She should be worth as much as her peers, which is about $150m+, but she's only worth $60m, and that's after a LV showing... anyway, point being, EVERYONE believed she needed to be imprisoned by her father because that's what the Legacy Media told us... nothing could have been further from the truth, and because of the media supporting her dad, she suffered under that conservatorship for 13 long years. ]
I don't know what IS or IS NOT accurate out in the online diatribe about what SHE said or HE said they did or did not do during their relationship so I can only go by actual legal documentation, much like these lady lawyers go over on their YT channels, as the best indicators of where the truth lies. I don't know about you, but I believe that assault and such are illegal. If she took him for the money and didn't prosecute him, I wonder how much of the evidence is accurate. She turned around and got together with him again after the incident, obviously, because the proof is, she had his baby from those encounters. She again went after him for money. But the only court proceeding that happened regarding their relationship that I can look to for the truth is that he won in court.
Canceling people based on hearsay and innuendo is wrong on all accounts, Regurgitating stuff you have no way of knowing are based in facts is malicious. Gossiping about people without understand the truth is just as bad. This is why I posted that. I'm not here to relitigate or change anyone's mind. I'm just saying that stuff like this is, JD, Britney, Hyun Joong, is better to be none of our business because it's the public's insatiable attitude that help create the mess... ESPECIALLY the papz towards Britney.... and the papz do NOT exist without the public PAYING for those tidbits of gossip, whether true or not... and a person's reputation, at the end of the day, is all they have when everything else is stripped away.
Per an article in the Korean Herald, this drama was filmed between June and November of 2021. It's in post-production, with a supposed 2022 release date... but who knows why they cannot get distribution now.
BTW. the director of this movie, Kang Hyeong-cheol, had over-the-top praise for Yoo Ah In's acting ability, charisma, and professionalism. He said that he's one of the most fascinating actors in front of the camera, and that, after filming, felt like he hadn't even tested Yoo Ah In's compacity as an actor and wanted to work with him more. He said even though he's got "star" appeal, when working he's simply a true actor. This was a film that requires an ensemble not just one main actor. So, the director praised Yoo Ah In, in that, though he has this star power and appeal in his acting ability, Yoo Ah In, knows how to reign it end and balance it out so as to *not* out shine the rest of the cast...The director had tons of praise for his professionalism.
Best brother and sister ever! They even look like eachother alot, especially when they smile!
Commenting to someone cuz they don't agree with your assessment of their chemistry is the height of immaturity and passive aggressiveness. No wonder you see them as bro/sis thru the lens of your corneas. Grow up. You have your opinion you already posted. We can read it. Don't then attach an insult to others who disagree 2 days later because their comment got more likes than yours. It's rude.
With celebrities, this is the official seal for me. Even though sometimes breakups happen after marriage with celebrities, it's a rarer case when there are kids involved. I'm so happy that she went straight from marriage to motherhood without skipping a beat. Just solidifies in my mind how truly committed they both are... especially now that he has a ton of content in the works... of COURSE he does!!! He's got another mouth to feed!

Congratulations to the happy couple.
