Haha you must've read it either on my feeds or Reply 1988's thread when someone asked for a family drama recommendation that's as good as Reply 1988. I couldn't think of any other heartwarming family dramas that's on par with Reply 1988 besides What Happens to My Family :) I'm glad you loved it as much as I did ^^
This interview basically confirms that script writers didn't change the script of the husband hunt at all. It was decided since the start. Hope this puts rumours to rest :)

First episode...I didn't expect it to be this good! Quite surprised since usually I don't often go for this genre :O I love the whole mystery and communication with someone from the past whilst still in the present day. I'm curious to see how they will explain this :)

Haha everytime I enter a drama I always tell myself to ship for the lead guy instead of second lead to save the heartbreak...but I swear I always end up falling for second lead in 90% of cases...like I would start out rooting for first lead then end up liking second lead better. I wasn't like this when I started watching Asian dramas....but I guess after watching so many you kinda get tired of the same old 'lead guy' type getting the girl.
Same, I also started R1988 because of the actor so I was a little bias to begin with...however beginning episodes I did end up rooting for the lead though beofre switching. For this drama...I'm following the same pattern as R1988 it seems. Right now I'm seriously rooting for YooJung and Seol, while In-ho hasn't creeped up on me yet. Have not read the webtoon yet, but In-ho seems quite Lovable at the moment while YooJung makes me suspicious. Lol

Haha me too, it was the first time I'm so happy my ship turned out to be true :) underdogs in typical k-drama land never gets the girl. I'm so happy it turned out like this too (and best part was that if you look back at the clues, it was right there from the very first episode).

I guess that's true, but for those who were shipping him like me, we had low expectations. Because the other guy had everything that was very typical of lead while he felt like a second lead. But you are right, he had equal chances in terms of how the story goes. What made him felt like second lead also was the fact that we didn't get his inside thoughts/narrations as opposed to the 'lead' which didn't turn out to be lead....haha hope I'm making sense :p

I'm starting to seriously love Baek In Ho too! He reminds me of Yook Sung Jae's character in School 2015 (Gong TaeKwang). I find him cool but not yet a romantic type partner for Seol yet. But I love their bickering, it so cute haha
Wahoo caught up with this drama....that preview for episode 7 *squeee* cant wait!!! ❤ also, as much as I love YooJung, I find Baek In-ho so endearing. I hope I don't develop second lead syndrome again. YooJung still creeps me out a bit :P
