But besides all this husband hunting, I'm really curious as to why Bo Ra and Sun Woo are not allowed together.…
I'm confused with this as well. I've been reading comments and people are saying it has something to do with same surnames, how you shouldn't marry someone with the same surname. I'm curious to find out if they will explain this in tonight's episode.

:( I was originally a JH shipper so I can feel the heartbreak for him too. Jumped ship after episode 8 though. I do hope they give JH a better person. The real lesson here was he learnt from his mistake in the last episode. Last episode was about giving him closure so that he's more at peace with himself to be able to move on, so whoever he falls for in the future, he won't hesitate anymore.
IM SO HAPPY ;;;;; MY LIFE IS COMPLETE. PRECIOUS TAEKY GOT WHAT HE DESREVED. I CANT BELIEVE. THAT KISS WAS JUST…
I think the difference between JH and TK shippers is that Taek shippers were fully prepared to be heartbroken but still rooted for him anyway...whereas JH shippers were confident and not prepared for it. So it is understandable why they were upset. The actor who played Chilbongie in R94 even said he feels that Taek was very similar to his character. They both never gave up on the girl til the end so he hoped this time round, his character type gets the girl...and it literally happens! Yay! I'm glad the writers of this reply series changes things around so that it is different to its predecessors. One sidedove is a very real thing in life. Happens all the time.

DS: 'How can we tell them (our first kiss was in) 1989? I was in Year 3 of high school!'
Husband: 'Oh yeah you were in Year 3 then.. I didn't go to school so that concept's lost on me. But so what if you were in Year 3?'

After reading this dialogue, I don't think writers will switch end games. It would be hard to explain this scene otherwise. This scene officially confirms the future husband is definitely our beloved Taekie :)
Honestly though, if you think about it, there has been several clues pointing out to Taek being the husband. It…
Thanks for this ^^ I also posted some analyses about the husband in the discussion above as well. Now looking back, it was quite obvious who the husband is. It's just writers were very subtle with the clues but they were definitely there and the husband does rightly deserve the girl in the end :)
any romance between the leads yet? yes or no wud suffice ^.^
Not yet. I'm waiting for the romance to develop too, right now it's very focused on the plotline and dad. It's quite melo at the moment and heartbreaking.... But I have faith things will get better for our leads :)
I dropped this after 1 episode. I can't believe everyone was going on and on about this drama like it was the…
I agree with you. I too also dropped after watching the entire first episode. I really tried to continue to watch the second episode but I struggled since I couldn't stand it. Decided to drop it in the end rather than force myself :( anyhow, I don't want this to deter other people from watching, I guess everyone has different tastes. For me, this drama wasn't it and I don't get the hype either.
In the start I really liked JH but gradually Teak impressed me with his cuteness... so I am really really happy....…
I didn't mind whoever she ends up with, even if my ship sanked. The beauty of this show lies in the friendships and family. That's what makes it endearing for me :)

Same ^^ I watched it raw without understanding anything then read live recaps on Soompi. I'm sure after that, I'll be reading dramabean's recaps then watch the subs later next week :p
now jh's confession seems more sad than ever. he confessed as his last hope to test ds's feelings for the very…
Well like I mentioned before in my previous comments, I think it would have made a difference and JH would have ended up being the husband. What happened now is quite a realistic portrayal of what would happen in real life. It was JH's hesitations that ended up being his undoing. He had so many chances to confess and act on his feelings. He had better chances than Taek because Taek was so busy but he chose not to act on it. Taek is the typical underdog here. Even when DS tried to hit on him JH ignored it because he wanted to preserve the friendship with Taek. Both boys were noble idiots (Taek also cancelled the date on Saturday after he found out JH also likes DS). So what the show is trying to teach us is that although fate is timing, it wasn't the case here and JH realised towards the end that it wasn't fate but it was his hesitation all along. He could've gotten the girl if he acted earlier. The fate here belongs to Taek when he kissed her without realising it was real. Fate is when things happens but timing wasn't right for Taek because DS chose to lie about it. JH had so many chances since he sees DS more than Taek (he goes to School with her and ecen lives in the same building!). Anyway just my thoughts :)
yankumicho 1 seconds ago I am pretty sure the ending of Reply 1988 is going to wreck friendships on here. People…
I agree with you. I loved this show from the start because it was so focused on family and friendship. That's why it's so beautifully written. Those who gave it a 1 because their ship sank...I don't really understand. This show is the beat out of the 3 in my opinion. It taught us a lot about friendship and real life lessons. This drama is a gem :)
