This is such a sweet and comforting show. Binged the 6 eps in a few hours. I love the leads so much. Also people…
I don't think this would be in the category of sweet and comforting, it's full of dark themes and uncomfortable situations. And about her childishness; she had access to adults like her mom and her maids, they were all adults and she could have mimicked them, but I think the overly childish FL would have worked if the actress was either younger or was a better performer, her acting is quite subpar.
Omg by reading the highlights it reminds me of the good doctor is this really good kdrama??? Any reactions???
I'd say it has some resemblance to good doctor, but unlike good doctor that I dropped because of the horrible cast of characters surrounding the ML, in here though the people around the FL have not been like that at all, and their reactions are more human-like rather than the exaggerated way it was in good doctor.
She also modulates her voice so well in The King's affections to sound (more) like a guy, so no surprise here.…
I totally agree, have you seen King's affection? If so can you tell me if there is a triangle in it? and does it get draggy?
I'm contemplating about watching it but if it has a triangle then it's a no for me. Also is it funny?? or is it all serious? Sorry if I asked too many questions "_<
WoW! I loved both episodes so much I didn't even notice the time go by. But looking at the previews for the next episode, it looks to be a sad one, don't know if my weak heart can take it!
Having Seo In Guk play his younger self is a weird choice, I mean age gaps do not bother me (especially between…
YEP! me too. Age-gap between adults doesn't bother me at all either but I think it was a weird choice to have him play his own younger self unless the age-gap is really huge(which still wouldn't bother me).
There might be, this is supposed to be 18 episodes so there is hope. But it could be uncomfortable to watch too;…
In the genres it doesn't say anything about a Fantasy element so I don't think any of those things will happen but now that I checked again; it does say age-gap in the tags so maybe I was right.
Do you guys think there will be a little bit of romance?
There might be, this is supposed to be 18 episodes so there is hope. But it could be uncomfortable to watch too; According to the flashback we saw of the FL and ML wrestling, the FL looks way younger than him but I'm not really sure how big the age-gap is.
The thing about this drama(so far) is that it's not just one thing that you can love about it, there are so many things being done right for you to count, in short it's just fun to watch! I hope moving forward it can keep being this fun, unlike from now show time that started amazing and fun too, but then it got boring and too serious halfway through.
Just completed this, and I really wanted to love it but it failed to capture my interest.
Stuff that I liked: Tokyo was super cute, had not seen her in anything before this but she was not only beautiful but her acting was really good too. I loved that they were so much prepared beforehand and I loved their attempt at printing money in contrast to them just stealing it.
Stuff that I didn't like: the whole director trying to sabotage them and them knowingly just letting it happen got old quick, especially them taking someone they knew was a problem as decoy to get Moscow back in. the fact that the trained sniper failed to kill his target in such an easy environment. the stupidity of the professor when talking with the police. how the hostages could easily move around and be without supervision for long periods of time. why weren't they counting the hostages periodically?. the stupidity of Tokyo in revealing that the presumed dead girl was alive (that was so fucking stupid I started skipping ahead after that!). the fact that the director was allowed back with the other hostages immediately to cause even more problems, why couldn't he have been isolated?
just watch ep 2 and ep 3 its much lighter with a spirnkle of romnace imo ep 1 was darker in terms of setting the…
Nah! no matter how light it gets in later episodes, nothing will erase how dark and disturbing the first episode was. On top of that the SML is gonna obviously keep using her and keep her imprisoned like a prized horse to be bred when necessary. I can't stomach something this horrible. this is truly disturbing , If the SML was at least trying to help her then yeah this could be a little more tolerable, but as it stands and was shown, he's simply using her like his father and eventually becomes his father.
I watched the first episode and although I like both of the main leads, some of the drama's themes like enslavement and forced drug use are really bothering me and the fact the SML is continuously using the FL's ability knowingly that it bothers her, is really heinous in my eyes. the amount of greed in the SML's family is truly disgusting and the SML himself is walking in his father's footsteps and seems like he will become a villain in later episodes, so it's a drop for me.
I was looking for a lighthearted comedy with a pinch of romance but this definitely isn't that.
