Thanks for the reply, I watched the first episode and although the leads were cute and the comedy was on-point too, I'm not really interested in th e whole murder plot(cuz she might go to jail and we wouldn't get a happy ending), so I don't think I'll be watching it anymore, maybe I'll change my mind after it finishes airing and I'm 100% sure it's happy ending, then I'll watch.
oh my ghost is an old-ish drama that's really good and so funny
Are you talking about oh my ghost? If so then yeah it's a really good drama, I always laugh so hard when I re-watch it, which I've done so many times already.
because the later episodes were all disappointing, and the ending felt not only rushed and cramped with too many…
Don't get me wrong, it's not terrible. at the start till episode 7 or 8 it's really good, past that it starts to become more boring as it goes along, the comedy starts to fall flat and the show that was about magic tricks, ghosts and fun shenanigans becomes or at least the writer tries to make it into a mystery/horror/thriller and he fails on all account, if the show had followed the same theme as it's first half, it would have been a perfect 10 from me, but the terrible direction and editing coupled with unmemorable OST's in the second half just ruined it for me.
Why is the rating only 8.4 when almost everyone is giving it a 10? I thought it would be a 9 at least. I haven't…
because the later episodes were all disappointing, and the ending felt not only rushed and cramped with too many stuff, it was full of cliche and unnecessary stuff too.
on episode 10 and I'm dropping this. This drama started really promising, as a funny and light-heated Rom-com with a dash of fantasy and mystery, but as it wen on the comedic scenes became less and less, the romance became cliche and it tried to change itself to a thriller/horror drama and it's utterly failing at it, the scenes with the evil spirit aren't suspenseful at all, nor are they scary. and from what I've read in the comments they 're apparently going in the cliche path of dragging the villain plot to the final episode even though the villain has lost it's interesting aspect a couple of episodes ago. I wish they had stuck to the earlier episodes vibes and kept that going but this drama since episode 7 is becoming more boring by the minute and I'm fast-forwarding through a lot of the scenes. there are a lot of thing that are just bad in this drama but I'm not gonna go into details cuz it's a waste of time, it's just so boring.
In real life, most of the big bads get away. They go abroad, hide out with the billions they've stolen and kept…
Sure! the real world works that way. But this isn't supposed to be real world, the Drama has Fantasy as one of it's genres, there is time-travel too, so this is far from the real life, also no one really watches tv shows to feel the harshness of the real world they experience on a daily basis, unless they're rich spoiled golden spoon kids who want to watch and learn of the problems of real people. And you're right in the real world bad guys do get away and get to live cushy lives abroad, But in a drama in which the main character is sent back in time to kill and end the tyranny of an evil Villan, we as the audience expect a payout at the end, if not then the journey and the purpose of the MC becomes moot and meaningless. Don't you agree??????
answer from my side1. Well bout han ji hyun becoming the grim reaper, it's kind of a thing in fantasy kdramas…
yeah, but apparently the drama is based on the Novel and in the novel things are different, but since I can't read Korean I don't how much stuff are different. But considering that the novel is two seasons and 300 chapters, there was no way they could have fit that much info in a 16 episode drama, so I believe that it would have made so much more sense to adapt it from the Manhwa that has less chapters and a satisfying ending to boot, considering that I don't think this drama will get another season I think the production team made a huge mistake in choosing the Novel over the Manhwa.
for those who complaint why the ending different with manhwa, please check again the description about this drama…
Thanks for the clarification, I did not know that. But to me it would have made more sense for them to adapt from the Manhwa, because they only had 16 episodes to work with and with no guarantee of a second season it would have been a better decision to adapt from 100 chapter rather than 300 from the novel.
the webtoon is gold, this writer changed so many things that ruined his own script and drama. I think if Lee Joon…
Yeah that's obvious! but the Novel according to what I've heard is 2 seasons and a lot longer than the webtoon and it would've made a lot more sense to go the route of the Webtoon when they only had 16 episodes to work with.
I think Lee Joon Gi needs a better script next time, not something from a comic maybe. The bar simply got set…

I very rarely log in, but had to because of the last two episodes. I guess the premise was to leave the ending…
Totally agree with you. This kind of ending works only with another season already planned, but this drama so far seems to not be getting another season, so it makes the ending stupid and unsatisfying. also the ending makes the whole drama un-rewatchable.
It’s much more understandable in the webtoon, the ending and the whole grim reaper thing is so much better explained…
yeah he doesn't exist. HJH's parents are poor and can't raise her so they go work abroad and leave her at an orphanage, CTS sees the potential in her and supports and grooms her to serve him, years later her parents come back after earning enough and even get a house for themselves and take HJH with them, CTS get's angry that all his efforts are going to waste so he kills HJH's parents and disguises it as an accident, later HJH even finds out that CTS has her declared death and she doesn't even exist, and after finding out that he killed her parents she starts gathering evidence on him, evidence that he later gives to KHW. no brother whatsoever exists. I dropped at episode 10 so don't know how much the stupid writer changed. did they add a brother to an already overcrowded script??
Everyone is saying ending is disappointing. Should I start watching this? 🤔Is it fast pacing and exciting throughout…
If you're interested in the summary and the concept of the drama then I suggest you read the webtoon, it's relatively short, fast paced and you can finish it quick. But if you're planning on watching the Drama then I suggest you don't read the webtoon, because then you'd be disappointed on how much terrible compared to the webtoon the drama is.
damn it, you've picked my curiosity so I'm gonna watch till 4.
