Title Again My Life Spoiler
They throw in so many characters but almost none of them has depth/intriguing background story :((( idk about…
in the webtoon most of the characters that are involved with Hee woo are fleshed out a lot more, the writer here has changed a bunch of characters from the webtoon too and that has made them less noteworthy and one-dimensional.
This Drama would have worked a lot better if it had more episodes, but even with 16 if the writer had followed the webtoon closely then even 16 would have been enough but since the writer is trying way too much to add his own stuff in and change it so much that when it gets to actual plot there doesn't seem to be enough time to spend on the characters or Hee woo's schemes.

So when it started getting exciting they ended the episodes ,, I know this drama is a chess game but it took too…
If you want more thrilling scenes I suggest you read the webtoon, it has a lot of them. It also has a lot more chess moves that all result in Hee Woo's win in the end. I highly recommend it.

16 episodes are not enough to finish this story. We are at episode 11 and KHW doesn't seem close to success.
They can finish it by cramming everything in the remaining episodes, the problem though is that the schemes and cunning of the MC from the webtoon would not be able to be portrayed fully in the 5 remaining episodes so they either have to simplify it and cut a lot of corners of the story or make up easier stuff.

That maybe so! But someone who has read the novel told me that the only difference between the novel and the webtoon is that the webtoon doesn't have romance but the novel does.

Is it just me or Cho Tae Seob isn't villainous enough. I mean the only person killed directly was Hee Woo in the…
Is being a villain only about killing people though? He may have directly not killed anyone so far (that we've seen) but his orders and the results he demands from those under him constantly get people either killed or falsely accused and thrown in jail.

he has made a mockery of the laws of the country all in pursuit of power for himself and in doing so has allowed others to bend and break the laws in their own favor and the drama might not show it but the end results of this behavior of the few in power will at some point result in utter chaos and anarchy in the country.

and what you may call clever political play, I call being a criminal in charge of the court and the media while you control the system so no matter what you do you'll never go to jail, that's not clever nor a political play, that's just one man being in charge of everything in a country, a man who chooses himself to be the president rather than the people choosing him.
Also I don't think it's a loop but time-travel!

Maybe, but so far the whole restaurant scenes seems so weak and unnecessary, and the Kim hee woo in the webtoon is so much smarter and resourceful, he makes his own wealth, he has paper companies, he has shares and stocks in big companies, he owns multiple apartments and land.
I'm not gonna spoil the webtoon for you anymore cuz I don't know if you wanna read it later.
when I first saw this drama it was a solid 10 for me but after reading the webtoon it's barely a 7 and I might even lower that after I see the following episode.

It has been so long long time since I watched a drama as it aired, and I'm loving this. Although it is great but…
If they hadn't added a lot of characters that aren't that active in the webtoon unnecessarily, then they could have made it in 16 episodes.

but by wasting time on characters that don't add anything to the story, when it comes to actual important scenes they don't have enough time and it seems rushed.

I think the screenwriter tried to create unnecessary drama in a story that had enough on it's own and by omitting a bunch of stuff from the webtoon wrote himself into a corner.

Yep, it makes a lot more sense and for the life of me I don't know why they would change that, also Park Sang Man is a totally different character in the webtoon, his character has been butchered in the drama.

Yep, the writer of the drama has unnecessarily added so many characters that aren't even in the webtoon or if they are they only appear sparingly, for example Hee woo's parents have way more screen time in the drama than they did in the webtoon, in the webtoon Hee woo buy's them a house in the countryside so they can enjoy the fresh air and farm in peace and they really don't interact with the other characters.

I almost had a teary eye after listening to the sob story by the only daughter of a multi billion dollar conglomerate,…
It's because for some reason the writer has chosen to change stuff from the webtoon, Hee ah in the webtoon is an economics major graduate and has moments of genius that where again cut from the show, for example in university Hee woo askes her what he should invest his money into and her answer is exactly correct and in correlation with what Hee woo knows from the future.
She even says that the filp-phones that they're using right now would evolve and be like PC's that people carry everywhere which again we know to be true and she clearly predicts that.

Well! the story needs time to develop and the opponent is an impossibly strong guy, so there really isn't enough…
I'm not denying that and if this was a Novel or a tv show with 100's of episode there'll be time to show all of that but so far he has contributed nothing to the story. him fighting or studying have no bearing on the story.
