how much did they change from the novel cause side parts of the novel p×ssed me off? JY and QL have such good chemistry from all of the filming shots I have seen before this aired
Athletes only understands clearly what is the true importance of practice and training in the chosen sports
Idk if I'm misunderstanding you so let me know. In general across sports cardio/endurance building is the most fundamental part of being a successful athlete. If you can't keep up with the competition you already lost before skill even comes into play
EP 6 and Im suprised these kids really stopped training just cause they had to run all practice. I understand that they feel like he was just going through the motions with them and is an asshole but running builds endurance. Some of these coaches do decide that some days are just cardio and that is part if pro and minor league. Fun drama
HuiJu and the Queen are pretty similar. I can see them behaving like eachother if the roles were reversed. Their dynamics are fun because they are both kinda mean (We support women here lol)
Because that monarchy has survived till modern day? and will likely be similar to how the korean one would hv…
To answer your question look at my first comment. I literally said that I would have been interested to seem them do it with less to no western influences which means taking insperation from their own history and being creative about how they think it would look minus the obvious western influences that are present in modern day Korea due to colonization and globalization. I said that from the jump.

what??? You are reading too much into what I wrote instead of just taking it at face value. Why would I shade a drama that I am actively watching and enjoying? You are over here picking fights and putting words in my mouth for what? I can not be impressed by aspects of a show and still like it...
I find the correlation to the British monarchy odd and interesting too. I notice Kdramas (even Cdramas) seem to…
Yes I noticed that too! It is kinda funny (not really funny but fascinating) to see so many real world references even with the most recent ep hinting at the royal family being taken out by some traitor. It reminds me of some of the conspiracy therioes about the British monarchy. I image that other modern day monarchys have similar conspiracy theories floatong around.

ya I think the British monarchy is just more globally well known :/ I mean kinda hard to not know about them because of their centuries of colonization and enforcement
I think it's just easy to take note from existing monarchy though this isn't realistic anyway so it's probably…
I agree with that I just thought they could have done more / been more creative because so much of what we are seeing in the drama has already been done in reality/seems very western (contemperary formal wear, choice of vehicles etc) minus the obvious traditional rituals. I guess to your point they wanted it to be easier for the audience to connect to their idea of a modern day Korean royal family.
I am confused why they took so much influence from the British royal family for this drama. I had this thought since ep 1 and kinda just pretended not to care but feels a little unwhelming when they could have done a full modern day Korean royalty with out colonialism and occupation. Ignoring the heavy British vibes it is cute though. (I am not correting all of the typos fyi I do see them lol)
