Hao jia’s future looks bleak at this rate. Though she herself made her bed, you cannot help but feel for her.…
Given how she was taught there was no way for her to predict that the best prospect would be in fact the worst. A crown prince who looks good and seems to be wise but is in fact is a douche
I'm slightly confused.......idk if the drama is trying to make the cheating seem funny or silly because one thing…
At this point after watching a few dramas that felt like fresh air when it comes to addressing sexism / misogyny this one feels... abit old. (giving that it just started releasing eps it may be less annoying so idk...)
I'm slightly confused.......idk if the drama is trying to make the cheating seem funny or silly because one thing for sure that couple needs to divorce. (or/ and have a sit down talk because they are dysfunctional) and no way they will be able to over come this problem when the issue lies in them not being a good couple. The wife is being lied to and then she is in some legal sense commenting domestic abuse which will not look good if they do go to court. The husband is a jerk (yes this comment is not grammatically correct i know)
Praise sisterhood dramas. Not gonna lie some of the comments have me worried. I feel bad for hao jia because she choose what she thought would be the safest but seems to be back firing.
I thought it made sense. He was confusing so the backstory filled in some gaps
Yes those are some questions I still have as well but know we know to some extent why he is the "one dollar lawyer". We can assume that he is an illegitimate child (I hate this term because even if the parents were not married that is still their child) because the dad never acknowledged him in public and also it was mentioned in the show that the father "couldn't". I don't think he is imitating anybody personally I think he created another persona in order to cope with the trauma i.e combining LCA's character with his own in order to make the one dollar lawyer etc. But other that there are more unanswered questions like you stated but in general we only got the flash back because Mari wanted to know why he is the one dollar lawyer and what caused this.
There was romance build up in Vincenzo, you weren't paying close enough attention. Also, ost lyrics say it all:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTIhjBSVjOA
I have to agree the romance in Vincenzo was not out of nowhere but it still felt like a situationship lol
Im having a hard time Im on episode 2 I adore Esther, I dropped Moonlight not for her but the male lead, but Ill…
I liked both of them in moonlight her character balanced the ML out in moonlight so he chilled out. Hopefully you are correct about the MeiRen but I also find the ML kinda stiff. ( so the main issue is that the two premiered so close together that comparison keep popping up :(
I keep saying this but Lan Hua really is one of the most emotionally mature characters in C drama land. She listens to people and tries to understand why they do certain things while still sticking to her morals. I can't say the same for Yu Mei Ren (new show) yet :( I really liked Esther's role in this and moonlight because she managed to pick FLs that have and use agency.
Wow, Esther Yu pouts 6-7 times in a min......I have seen her work in couple of dramas, same in every drama irrespective…
The writing and directing of the show feels a little poor. I really liked Esther in moonlight and LBFAD but this drama is starting off a bit not so great. The character suits her but the script could be tighter. The male lead also feels a bit stiff and the supporting actors feel like scenery. :(
Lan Hua is one of my favorite FL in drama land because she is so empathetic and understanding. It takes a lot of strength and security to be that open and vulnerable to people. I appreciate the writing for this drama even though it is different from the novel because they managed to create somethin beautiful.
